Lu Jingzhi pulled Sang Yu to a jet ski and hopped on. If Jiang Han saw this scene, he would surely be taken aback! Jiang Han would think, "Is this really Lu Ge? This behavior is simply childish! So immature!"
"Hmph! I’m happy to be childish!" Lu Jingzhi declared. Sang Yu could only hold onto his waist as they rode the jet ski. As for that other guy, he could just stay as far away as possible.
Lu Jingzhi tugged at Sang Yu's arm, making her wrap her arms around his waist. He turned to her and said, "Hold on tight!" Just as the words left his mouth, the jet ski shot forward with a whoosh, startling Sang Yu into clutching Lu Jingzhi’s waist even tighter.
"Ah!!! Why is this guy going so fast?! He’s going to scare me to death!" Sang Yu thought, wanting to pat her startled heart, but realizing her hands were occupied, she had to give up.
The rapid speed made Sang Yu's heart race. The splashes of water hit her face, making it hard for her to keep her eyes open. Frustrated, she bit down on Lu Jingzhi's shoulder.
The sharp pain made Lu Jingzhi grunt softly, but it didn’t bother him; it was just a little sting. What surprised him was how much Sang Yu had changed. Not only in appearance but also in personality—she had transformed from a lifeless person into a lively and cheerful individual. This was wonderful!
"You have no sense of humanity! Your whole family has no sense of humanity!" Sang Yu retorted after venting her frustration. Feeling much better afterward, she thought, "Hmph! Letting you tease me all the time; even a rabbit will bite when it’s angry."
Lin Yue watched the two zoom past and was momentarily stunned, her mind a bit foggy. Were those two really Lu Jingzhi and her Sang Sang? Was she imagining things?
Who could tell her what had happened during this time? Why were these two on the same jet ski? Didn’t Sang Sang used to be afraid of riding jet skis? Her mind was filled with questions that desperately needed answers.
Having lost interest in playing, she asked the staff to take her back to the beach and anxiously waited there.
When Sang Yu got off the jet ski, her legs felt weak and wobbly. Lin Yue had been waiting for a while and rushed over when she saw Sang Yu come down. She glanced at Lu Jingzhi and then supported Sang Yu's arm, whispering, "Sang Sang, what happened? How did Lu Jingzhi end up here? How did you two end up together?"
Sang Yu replied, "I want to know why he’s here too! I want to know why we’re together."
"Wait a minute; let me catch my breath first!"
Lu Jingzhi checked the time; it was already lunchtime. He turned to the two of them and said, "It’s noon; I’ll treat you both to lunch. What do you want to eat?"
Sang Yu shook her head vigorously. "No need! We can eat at our hotel! Bye!" She grabbed Lin Yue and took off running at a speed faster than a rabbit; anyone watching would think they were being chased by dogs.
Lu Jingzhi watched the two run off and smiled helplessly. "Alright then, take your time; don’t scare her!"
"You must have some misunderstanding about yourself! Haven’t you scared me enough today?!"
In a good mood, Lu Jingzhi headed back to the hotel. Since no one was there to accompany him for lunch, he decided to eat alone.
After returning to the hotel, Lin Yue tidied up before coming over to Sang Yu's room. Her curiosity was buzzing with gossip; only Sang Yu could satisfy her thirst for information.
Sang Yu recounted everything that had happened to Lin Yue but omitted certain details—like how Lu Jingzhi had held her and her reaction during that moment. Just thinking about it made Sang Yu blush; Lu Jingzhi’s size was truly impressive. Oh no! She couldn’t take it anymore; someone please save her!
Lin Yue looked at Sang Sang's increasingly flushed face and couldn't help but ask, "Sang Sang, why is your face so red?"
"Huh? Um, red? Hehe, maybe it's just too hot," Sang Yu replied awkwardly.
"You’re making it up! Keep lying!" Lin Yue said, quietly waiting for her response.
"Then should I... continue to make things up?" Sang Yu asked hesitantly.
