What a miscalculation! How could we have known she would actually agree to it? Someone like her should have some self-awareness, right? She knows she doesn't deserve Lu Ge, yet she still said yes. 0

Just think about it—who in the whole school could resist someone as charming as Lu Ge? It’s unexpected but also makes sense; it’s just a pity for Lu Ge to be dating someone so average. 0

As the boys' voices faded away, Sang Yu finally emerged from the restroom. She stared at the backs of the boys, tears welling stubbornly in her eyes, fighting to hold them back. Is it really such a burden for him to be with her? Does he truly dislike her that much? Not even a word of defense for her? Or perhaps he dislikes her so much that he can't even be bothered to mention her. 0

Enough already, is that all you have to say? Lu Jing shot a glare at the group, feeling inexplicably uncomfortable hearing them talk about Sang Yu like that. Unfortunately, by the time Lu Jing spoke up, he had already walked away, and Sang Yu didn’t hear him. 0

Sang Yu had just finished three classes of language arts, her throat feeling a bit sore. After pouring herself a glass of water, she thought she could finally relax when the office phone rang. 0

“Hello?” 0

“Oh, she’s here.” 0

“Alright, Guo Daye.” 0

“ Teacher Sang, there’s someone looking for you at the school gate.” 0

“Looking for me?” Sang Yu pointed at herself in surprise. 0

“Yes, you.” The teacher nodded in confirmation. 0

“Did Guo Daye say who it was?” Guo Daye was the gatekeeper. 0

“No name given, just said it was your friend.” 0

With no choice but to head out, Sang Yu knew that strangers wouldn’t easily be allowed into the school. 0

The last class of the morning began; the children were in their classrooms while the campus fell silent, occasionally interrupted by one or two teachers passing by. 0

Sang Yu hurried to the gatekeeper's station and knocked on the cold glass window. “Guo Daye, who is looking for me?” 0

“ Teacher Sang! Ah, well, it’s a particularly handsome young man.” 0

Sang Yu followed Guo Daye's finger and saw a man dressed in a long gray coat and dark jeans, wearing black leather boots. He leaned against a black car with his left arm crossed over his chest and a cigarette held casually in his right hand. His relaxed posture exuded an alluring charm that made anyone who looked at him blush and feel their heart race. 0

The midday sun cast unique shadows on his tightly clenched fingers as he took a deep drag from the cigarette between his fingers and slowly exhaled. The thick smoke blurred his otherwise clear features. 0

It seemed he sensed someone watching him. He slightly turned his head towards the school gate and saw a woman wearing a cream-colored long coat, paired with light blue jeans and brown high heels. She appeared tall and graceful. Lu Jing's eyes lit up; every time he saw Sang Yu, there seemed to be a surprise, though there were also plenty of shocks. 0

Her long, flowing hair accentuated her fair complexion, which looked even more delicate under the sunlight, almost glowing. 0

" Teacher Sang, is that your boyfriend?" Guo Daye asked curiously about the relationship between the two young people. 0

"Hehe, no, just a friend," Sang Yu replied with an awkward smile, aware of Guo Daye's nosiness. 0

" Teacher Sang, you better hold on tight then; such a handsome guy is hard to come by." 0

"Hehe, hehe," Sang Yu continued to force a smile. "Guo Daye, aren't you cold with the window open all the time?" 0
