Lu Jingzhi was now very confused. How on earth did his father find someone with such poor taste?
"Where do you think I found your father? It was your father who found me," Lu Mu replied.

Lu Mu's voice suddenly stopped. "You have a girlfriend?"

Lu Mu quickly sat down next to Lu Jingzhi. "Really? Who is she? What does she do? How old is she? When are you bringing her home for us to meet?"
"Stop!" Lu Jingzhi raised his hand in a gesture to pause. His mother was asking way too many questions.
"I haven't even started pursuing her yet! Let me get her first before we talk about it."
"You haven't pursued her yet? You're really falling behind," Lu Mu looked at him with disappointment, unable to deny that he was indeed her son.
"Compared to your dad and brother, you're lagging way behind. You should learn from them. Your dad managed to win me over in less than a week, and your brother is even more impressive; he got his wife when they were childhood friends. Just look at the difference!"
Lu Jingzhi stood there, stunned by his mother's elegant departure.
