She was at the age where her sister should be dating and getting married, and it was normal for her to be in a relationship. Their mother was even urging her sister to go on blind dates, so there was no reason for her sister to hide it. The fact that she was so reluctant to let them know suggested that she was afraid they wouldn't approve.

I have to give credit to Sang Xia; you are truly the modern-day female Sherlock Holmes.
"Sister, you have a break this week, right?" Sang Xia nestled on the sofa, engrossed in a drama while munching on snacks and sipping a drink from the coffee table. She looked completely at ease.
"Yeah, I get off this Friday," Sang Yu replied absentmindedly while scrolling through her phone.
"Then I won't leave just yet. Since you're about to have a break, I'll stay a few more days and we can hang out together," Sang Xia said, sneaking glances at her sister's reaction.
"Uh, oh..." Sang Yu forced a smile that looked more painful than crying. Just yesterday, Lu Jingzhi had sent her a message expressing his strong dissatisfaction. If her sister stayed until the break, he would surely explode.
Sang Xia ignored her sister's painful smile and began singing cheerfully, "I’m so proud, I’m so proud."
Sang Yu went to work feeling gloomy that morning. After lunch, she called Lu Jingzhi and mentioned that her sister would be staying until her break and wanted to help with family matters.
There was silence on the other end of the line. Sang Yu's heart raced as she cautiously asked, "What’s wrong? Why aren’t you saying anything?"
After a long pause, Lu Jingzhi's voice finally came through, "Have you eaten?"
Sang Yu was confused as to why the topic had suddenly shifted to whether she had eaten.
"You should take the afternoon off. I’ll pick you up," Lu Jingzhi said before hanging up without giving Sang Yu a chance to respond.
Staring at the disconnected call, Sang Yu felt bewildered. So, was he angry or not? And why did he want her to take time off? She was a sensible child; if she didn’t understand something, she would ask. But now that she had called, no one was answering.
"Yu Guo, can you keep an eye on our class this afternoon?" Sang Yu asked her classmate across the room.
"Sure! Do you have something going on this afternoon?"
After hanging up the phone, Lu Jingzhi picked up his car keys from the desk and left the office. As he passed by the secretary's office, he instructed Xiao Chen, "Move this afternoon's tasks to tomorrow."
Xiao Chen watched as his boss rushed past like a gust of wind with a dark expression that frightened everyone into silence. They knew their boss could be intimidating when angry. As he watched Lu Jingzhi’s retreating figure, Xiao Chen silently thought:
"What happened to the boss?"
"What's wrong with him?" Xiao Li leaned over to Xiao Chen and asked while glancing in the direction their boss had gone.
Xiao Chen regained his usual composed demeanor and shot Xiao Li a look. "Mind your own business." (Xiao Chen thought: How am I supposed to know what’s wrong with him? I'm not a mind reader!) After saying that, he left. With their boss throwing down his responsibilities like this, it was up to him to clean up the mess later. They still had an important contract to sign in the afternoon; he needed to call and apologize.
Xiao Li exclaimed in disbelief: "Wow! He's such a big shot; we can't mess with him!"
