She felt comfortable, but Lu Jingzhi was still holding back. He felt like he was about to explode if he didn't release soon. In a swift motion, he stripped off all his clothes. "Baby, help me!" Lu Jingzhi whispered seductively in Sang Yu's ear.
"How... how can I help?" Sang Yu's voice trembled involuntarily.
Lu Jingzhi stopped talking and took Sang Yu's hand. After more than half an hour, just when Sang Yu thought her hand was going to give out, Lu Jingzhi let out a muffled groan.
Sang Yu stared blankly at her hand.
"You're amazing!" Lu Jingzhi said, satisfied, and kissed Sang Yu on the lips before picking her up and carrying her to the bathroom. He planned to give them both a shower.
As the water splashed onto her body, Sang Yu finally realized that although they hadn't taken the last step, they had already done everything else that should or shouldn't have been done.
Coming back to her senses, Sang Yu felt particularly embarrassed about their nakedness in front of each other. She hugged Lu Jingzhi tightly and buried her head in his chest; it was just too shameful.
Lu Jingzhi enjoyed his girlfriend's embrace, but at that moment, he feared he might not be able to hold back any longer.
"Baby, if you don't let go of me soon, I think we might end up taking that next step," he said, not trying to scare her but unable to resist the temptation as his brother stirred again.
Sang Yu felt it too; after all, there were no barriers between them.
Startled, she quickly released him and dashed into the shower for a quick rinse. Lu Jingzhi also finished his shower in a hurry and wrapped a towel around his waist before stepping out.
He found Sang Yu rolling around on his bed, wailing softly. He knew his girlfriend was feeling shy.
After admiring her for a moment, Lu Jingzhi finally spoke up. "Baby, shouldn't we talk about this?"
Hearing his voice, Sang Yu's wails abruptly stopped, and she froze in place.
Right, they had been kissing since they entered the room, but the issue still hadn't been resolved.
"Go ahead, why don’t you want your family to know about me?" Lu Jingzhi pulled Sang Yu up from the bed and went to the living room to pour her a glass of water.
Sang Yu glanced at him hesitantly, unsure of how to respond.
Should she mention that she nearly fell into depression after their first encounter? That she had even taken a break from school because of it? That her entire family disliked him because of that?
No! She didn't want to say any of that! She didn't want Lu Jingzhi to know about these things.
Seeing Sang Yu's expression, Lu Jingzhi couldn't help but furrow his brow. "Is there something you can't tell me?"
Sang Yu hesitated and nodded slightly.
"Then tell me, do you want to be with me?" Lu Jingzhi fixed his gaze on Sang Yu, surprised to find himself feeling nervous as well.
Sang Yu looked at Lu Jingzhi and nodded slightly. She wished to be with him forever, without any worries. However, that was not a decision she could make alone. What if one day he grew tired of her, bored, and wanted to move on?
Lu Jingzhi let out a sigh of relief. As long as she didn’t think about holding hands with him, it was fine. They could keep things unspoken for now; after all, she couldn’t hide it from her family forever.
Sang Yu replied, “I actually want to keep it a secret for a lifetime.”
Thinking about how his girlfriend would soon be on vacation, Lu Jingzhi said, “Bao'er, what will you do when you go back to your parents’ house? It’s almost a month; we won’t be able to see each other? You know the winter break in elementary school lasts about a month.”
“It’s okay, I’ll secretly video chat with you from my room.” Although she felt the time apart would be long, she didn’t know what else to do. Perhaps she could find an excuse to sneak out and meet him.
“Besides, it’s not that far apart. My family lives in the suburbs; I can just come up with an excuse to get out.”
Lu Jingzhi thought for a moment; it seemed that was the only way. Maybe he could secretly visit her too.
“Alright, why don’t you take a nap?” They had been talking for quite some time, and it was already past three o’clock. He knew Sang Yu had a habit of taking afternoon naps; she should still be able to fall asleep.
