When Lu Jing entered, he was greeted by a startling scene: Sang Yu was slumped on the floor, her eyes vacant and tears streaming down her face. It shocked him. What had happened? 0

"Baby, why are you sitting on the floor? Why are you crying?" Lu Jing hurried over to Sang Yu and lifted her up, placing her gently on the bed. 0

Sang Yu snapped back to reality and looked at Lu Jing beside her. Suddenly, she burst into loud sobs, wrapping her arms around his neck and crying so hard that she struggled to catch her breath, even hiccuping by the end. 0

Lu Jing felt a wave of panic wash over him. Could it be because of what had happened between them yesterday? He cursed himself for being unable to resist temptation. What a beast he had been! How could he have acted so thoughtlessly? 0

This was all a damn misunderstanding! 0

As he tried to comfort Sang Yu, he felt a pang of regret. "I'm sorry, I—" 0

Before he could finish, Sang Yu interrupted him with more cries. "Wuwuwu, you scared me! I thought... I thought..." She couldn't complete her sentence before she started crying again. 0

"Okay, okay, don't cry anymore, Bao'er." Lu Jing gently patted her back. After a while, she finally stopped sobbing, though she continued to sniffle from crying so hard. 0

"Baby, do you regret it? It's all my fault for not being able to resist temptation. I'm sorry. Please don't cry; you can hit me or scold me if it helps you feel better." 0

Sang Yu was confused by Lu Jing's words. "Why would I want to hit you?" 0

"Uh, aren't you regretting what happened between us last night?" 0

"Huh? No!" Sang Yu shook her head vigorously. She wasn't old-fashioned; they were already engaged. What had happened had happened. Although she had wanted to wait until their wedding night, it wasn't something to cry over now that it was done. However, she suddenly remembered something else and asked hesitantly, "So... did we really...?" 0

Lu Jing nodded. "Yeah." Last night had been quite an experience for him; if it weren't for the fact that his girlfriend was in such a state now, he would have wanted to do it all over again. 0

Sang Yu thought about how Lin Yue had been right about some things after all. She lowered her head shyly and murmured, "I wasn't crying because of that." 0

"Huh? Not because of that?" Lu Jing was surprised. "Then what was it about?" He wondered if something else had happened during that time. 0

Sang Yu glanced up at Lu Jing but quickly looked down again. "I thought... I thought I was taken advantage of by a stranger." Her voice grew softer as she spoke, feeling embarrassed. 0

Lu Jing couldn't help but chuckle at Sang Yu's words as he ruffled her hair playfully. "What are you thinking?" 0

"I called you last night; did you forget?" 0

Sang Yu tilted her head in thought. "I don't remember." 0

"What about other things? Do you remember anything at all?" Lu Jing pressed on, feeling a bit disappointed. After all, last night had been their first time together—did she really have no memory of it? 0

Sang Yu thought carefully and realized she was blushing more and more. While she didn't remember everything that had happened earlier, she did recall bits and pieces after sobering up a bit—like how she had begged Lu Jing repeatedly while he kept saying he was almost done but never actually finished. The memories were fragmented, but she could piece together what had occurred. 0

And here she was thinking she'd been taken advantage of by someone else and crying over it! Oh dear heavens, someone please take her away; this was so embarrassing! 0

Seeing the change in Sang Yu's expression made Lu Jing realize she must have remembered something important. He grew concerned and asked gently, "Is your body feeling okay? After all, we spent quite a long time together last night." 0

"Uh, I'm just feeling a bit of a headache. I've decided that I absolutely can't drink alcohol anymore; it’s too unbearable!" 0

I asked, "That's not what I meant." 0

"Huh?" Sang Yu looked at Lu Jing with a questioning gaze. 0
