"Hey, is it still your home?" 0
"Isn't it your home too?" 0
"Not yet." 0
"It'll be soon, just a few days left. It's already April, and there are only a couple of weeks to go." 0
"Come on, let's do an interview. In less than a month, Sang Xiaoyu, you'll be a married woman. How do you feel about that?" 0
"Nothing!" Sang Yu pushed away Lin Yue's hand that was pretending to be a microphone near her mouth. 0
"No excitement? No nerves? No anxiety?" 0
"Seems like there's none," Sang Yu shook her head. 0
"Okay then, what are you feeling?" 0
"Nothing at all, just the same as usual." 0
"Huh?" Lin Yue stared at Sang Yu with her wide eyes, but no matter how hard she stared, her eyes remained narrow slits. 0
"Maybe it's because I haven't participated in the wedding preparations? That's why I don't feel anything?" Sang Yu wondered aloud. After years of dreaming about this moment, why wasn't she excited at all? 0
"Maybe that's it. A bride as relaxed as you probably wouldn't feel much. Don't you want to participate at all?" 0
"I don't," Sang Yu shook her head. "Worrying about so many things is exhausting; it's enough for Lu Jing to take care of it." 0
"You're impressive," Lin Yue gave her friend a thumbs up. If it were her, she wouldn't be able to manage that; she was just born to worry. 0
"Enough talk, it's time for me to go. I've got two eggs boiling for you; you should use them on your eyes." 0
"Got it, you should hurry." 0

"Babe, the renovation is done! Let's go back to our home and see if there's anything we need to buy." 0
"Sure! This will be my first time visiting since the renovations began. I've seen the design plans, but seeing the actual place will definitely be different." 0
Lu Jing took Sang Yu's hand and walked into the elevator. "Are you hot? You're sweating." Sang Yu noticed that Lu Jing's palm was quite sweaty. 0
Lu Jing swallowed hard and replied, "Uh, yeah, it's a bit warm; maybe I'm wearing too many layers." 0
Sang Yu glanced at Lu Jing's outfit—just a shirt and a suit jacket—not thick at all. 0
She couldn't shake the feeling that Lu Jing seemed a little nervous. 0

He opened the door, releasing Sang Yu's hand to let her enter. He stood at the doorway, not moving. 0

Although it was already evening, the sky was still bright. As soon as Sang Yu stepped inside, she froze in place. It wasn't just the decor that left her speechless; the living room was filled with flowers—on the floor, on the coffee table, and on the sofa. There were red roses, pink roses, peonies, tulips, lilies, sunflowers, baby’s breath, lavender, jasmine, and gardenias. She couldn't help but wonder if Lu Jing had bought every flower from the shop. 0

In the center of the flowers was a heart-shaped arrangement made of candles, leaving just a narrow path for someone to walk through. Sang Yu turned around in disbelief to look at Lu Jing behind her. Their eyes met, and she felt her eyes welling up with emotion. Was it really as she had imagined? 0
