I am Sang Qing!
"Brother!" Lu Jing called out hurriedly. It turned out that this was his brother-in-law, and he couldn't show any disrespect during their first meeting; he had to give a generous Hongbao.
Lu Jing took a Hongbao from Jiang Han and stuffed it into Sang Qing's hands, saying, "It's our first meeting; please be forgiving, Brother!"
Looking at the pile of Hongbao in his hands, Sang Qing felt a bit embarrassed to make things difficult for him. This kid was too clever!
"I didn't do anything; don't wrongfully accuse me!" Lu Jing protested.
After asking a few simple questions, Sang Qing let him go. Having such a generous brother-in-law made it seem like he didn't care about his sister at all.
Lu Jing finally made his way through the obstacles and arrived at Sang Yu's room. The moment he saw Sang Yu, he was so excited that he almost threw the flowers in his hand away.
This was his wife—the one he could openly hold and sleep with!
The two exchanged deep gazes as if no one else existed around them.
Lin Yue exchanged a glance with Yu, their eyes filled with playful mischief!
"Cough cough!!! Come on, there's one last guarantee document to read, Lu Er Shao. You need to sign it," Lin Yue said, pulling out a pre-written guarantee document and handing it to Lu Jing.
Kneeling on one knee, Lu Jing read the guarantee: "In order to firmly implement the principle of having only one leader in the family, to ensure family unity, and to create a good family environment, I guarantee that everything will revolve around my wife. I will obey her arrangements; if she says one, I will never say two. If she asks me to kneel on durian, I will absolutely not kneel on the keyboard." After finishing reading, Lin Yue promptly handed him a pen and said, "Sign here."
Without any hesitation, Lu Jing signed his name boldly.
"Come home with me, my wife."
The two offered tea to Sang's Father, Sang's Mother, and Sang's Grandpa, which brought tears to many present. "Wah! I don’t want to get married anymore! Seeing Uncle and Auntie like this makes me think of my parents. They must have felt so sad when I get married," cried Yu as she hugged Lin Yue, unable to hold back her tears.
"Lin Yue: Where's that person who just said she must find a boyfriend? Stop crying; your makeup is all ruined!"
"I can't help it," she sobbed.
The wedding was held outdoors, beautifully decorated by Lu Jing. It was grand and romantic, just as Sang Yu liked it. Finally, under the gaze of everyone present, they exchanged rings and made promises to each other.
"Kiss! Kiss!"
It was unclear who started it, but soon the voices grew louder.
Lu Jing and Sang Yu exchanged smiles as they prepared for their first kiss as husband and wife.
"Dear, I love you!"
"I love you too!"
As the laughter of those around them filled the air, their two red lips drew closer and closer until they finally met.
Years later...
"Lu Zeyi!!!"
Lu Jingqi stormed out of the study, fuming as he shouted from the doorway. "Have I ever said you can't enter my study?!"
Three-year-old Lu Zeyi hid behind Sang Yu, peeking at his father.
"Don't yell at him like that; what if you scare him?"
"Scare him? Does his mother even know what she's talking about? Or does she think our son is more important than me?"
"Look, dear, this little rascal drew all over my documents! How am I supposed to read them now?" Lu Jing complained, holding up the ruined papers for Sang Yu to see.
Sang Yu could only shake her head in disbelief; it was as if these two had a grudge against each other, always bickering!
"Sweetheart, from now on, don't go into Daddy's study, okay? There are important things in there that he needs for work, and we can't just scribble everywhere." Sang Yu gently pulled her son in front of her and squatted down to speak softly.
"Okay, Mommy."
"Good boy!" Sang Yu patted Lu Zeyi's little head; her son was truly adorable.
Lu Jing shot a secret glare at his son, planning to deal with him later when his wife wasn't around.
This little guy is quite clever—putting on one act in front of me and another in front of his mother.
"Mommy, Daddy glared at me!"
Lu Jing protested, "Dear! Don't listen to our son; I didn't glare at him!"
"You did!"
"I didn't!"
"You did!"
I don't have it!
Looking closely, Sang Yu had a faint smile at the corner of her mouth as she listened to the father and son bickering. This, perhaps, is what happiness looks like.
Hi, Babies! This is where this book comes to an end. Here, I would like to first thank everyone for your support. It is your fondness that motivates me to keep writing.
The ending of this novel feels a bit rushed because I am not planning to continue writing. How should I put it? I am not entirely satisfied with it; perhaps my writing does not quite match the characters I envisioned. Therefore, I think it's best to stop here.
As for the Extra Chapter, if there are enough people who want to see it, I will find time to add it later.
During this time, my schedule has been quite tight because I just finished my confinement period. With two children at home to take care of, even though my parents are helping out, there are still many things that require my personal attention. As a result, I can only update one chapter a day, and I sincerely apologize for that.
In the past few days, I have started on my Third Book. This should actually be considered my first book since it was written when I first had the thought of writing a novel. Back then, I only wrote about one hundred thousand words before stopping. I've already written some of it; it was two years ago in the Era.
Looking back now, I am also not very satisfied with it, but I am reluctant to give up. So, I plan to finish this Era as a way to give myself some closure.
For those who like Era, you can take a look at it. There are no dramatic twists and turns; it's all about simple living—not exactly thrilling.
(Creating is not easy; please be kind! Of course, if you think it's not bad, please leave your support in the comments! Babies, until we meet again!)
