Last night, a heavy rain fell in Teikyo, and Wu Yunyun was cleaning the fallen leaves in the yard with other maids. It was deep autumn, and the temperature was quite low. They all wore warm gloves as the autumn wind howled around them. Those working together huddled in small groups, trying to dispel the chill. 0

"Have you heard? The girl going on a blind date with the young master today is Ji Sheng, that big star who’s always active on screen," Lin Xiaoying said while sweeping the leaves. She had heard this from Liu Ma, who served beside the lady of the house. Whenever Liu Ma mentioned the young master, her face was filled with regret because he had been on numerous blind dates over the past two years but had yet to settle down. 0

Wu Yunyun's mind automatically conjured up Ji Sheng's bright and dazzling face. She was Jin Xiaohua, whose Weibo followers had surpassed ten million in just two years. There were three or four television dramas of hers set to be released soon. 0

"I really want to go to the front hall and see what’s happening. I’ve never seen Ji Sheng in person," Zhu Lan said indignantly. She had been temporarily assigned here by Su Butler, and with so many leaves to clean up, by the time they finished, everyone would have left. 0

"Lanlan, don’t be anxious. Maybe this time they’ll hit it off, and you’ll get your chance to see her later," Lin Xiaoying comforted her. 0

"Hmph," Zhu Lan paused her sweeping. "Do you really think you know what kind of person the young master is? He can’t possibly succeed! I’d rather believe that the sun rises in the west than think he will!" She sighed dramatically. "My Ji Sheng... will I ever see you again in this lifetime?" 0

Wu Yunyun took out her phone to check the time; it was already past four in the afternoon. At this hour, the dinner party should have ended long ago. 0

"You know, with so many failed blind dates, do you think he might not like girls?" Lin Xiaoying pondered aloud, recalling how he changed girlfriends every six months. The more she thought about it, the more she felt this guess was correct. 0

"Maybe those women couldn’t stand him and broke it off first," she added. 0

"Lin Xiaoying, you’re so smart! How come I didn’t think of that?" Zhu Lan reflected for a moment and increasingly felt that Lin Xiaoying’s words made sense. 0

She turned to Wu Yunyun. "What do you think?" 0

"She’s not just anyone; her mother is Sun Aunty, who has served beside the old lady for decades," Lin Xiaoying explained. She and Wu Yunyun had grown up together; although they had worked for a few years now, their bond remained strong. 0

Zhu Lan rolled her eyes. "Does that even matter? Compared to us, Wu Yunyun is practically new." 0

She wasn’t wrong; Wu Yunyun held Lin Xiaoying's hand and said, "After all, I’ve only been here for three months." 0

"Exactly! I don’t mean to discriminate against you; I’m just saying you’re definitely younger than us," Zhu Lan continued gossiping. "When we were chatting earlier, you didn’t say much—don’t you have anything to share?" 0

"I just like listening to gossip; I don’t want to express any opinions," Wu Yunyun replied. 0

The reason it’s gossip is because much of it isn’t true at all. 0

After hesitating for a while, she finally managed to squeeze out a comment: "I think Ji Sheng is pretty good; maybe she would be a good match for the young master." 0

"How do you figure that?" Just then, an abrupt voice interjected. 0

They all recognized the owner of that voice. The group exchanged glances and subtly shifted left or right. 0

Wu Yunyun hesitated for just a second before quickly choosing a direction and quietly moving. 0

"Hey, the one in the middle, stop for a moment," Gu Si Yi called out to the figure with their back turned towards him. 0
