After Gu Si Yi finished skiing, Wu Yunyun composed herself. After all, the other party was her brother's girlfriend, and she didn't want to make things too awkward. 0

At noon, they went out for hot pot, and when they arrived, Wu Yunyun realized they could actually eat in a private room. They ordered a meal for one person, with a small pot in front of each of them, simmering gently over a low flame. The ingredients looked fresh, many of which Wu Yunyun didn't recognize. 0

Wu Yunyun had gone out to eat with her mother before, but their highest standard for a meal was usually kept under two hundred. Most often, they ate at buffets. 0

At the table, Lu Xiaoqi was the first to speak, asking Gu Si Yi if he had any plans to travel during the holiday. Gu Si Yi turned to Wu Yunyun and asked, "What do you think?" 0

"I'm going back to Yun Cheng to spend time with my grandmother," Wu Yunyun replied. 0

"Can't you stay in Teikyo?" 0

Wu Yunyun thought for a moment and shook her head. 0

"Oh dear, Gu Si Yi can't let go of his little girlfriend. Well, they just got together; he has to keep a close eye on her," Lu Xiaoqi joked. 0

Wu Yunyun glanced at Gu Si Yi, who was also looking back at her. In the next moment, he reached under the table and held her hand. Wu Yunyun felt her heart race. 0

"Don't scare her; she’s timid," Gu Si Yi said as he picked up a slice of beef from the small pot and placed it into Wu Yunyun's bowl. "Just focus on your own food; you don’t need to worry about them." 0

Wu Yunyun nodded and lowered her head to eat quietly. The taste was indeed good, but she still wondered why it was so expensive. 0

Across from her, Tian Mei watched as Wu Yunyun ate without a care in the world and felt even more disdainful. 0

Wu Yunyun didn't want to listen to their conversation, but she couldn't help overhearing. Lu Xiaoqi was planning to go to Switzerland, while Gu Si Yi intended to choose a city in Northern Europe for his trip. Others also mentioned cities they wanted to visit—places that Wu Yunyun had only learned about in geography class. 0

They managed to eat about sixty to seventy percent of the meal, and there was still quite a bit left. Wu Yunyun wanted to ask for a takeaway, but out of consideration for Gu Si Yi, she held back. 0

Tian Mei stood up and hugged Lu Xiaoqi's arm, suggesting, "Why don't we ask the waiter to pack this up for her? It would be a waste otherwise." It was clear who she was referring to. 0

Lu Xiaoqi's expression turned a bit awkward. He glanced at Gu Si Yi before saying, "What nonsense are you talking about? Does Gu Si Yi's girlfriend really need this little bit of food?" 0

Wu Yunyun waited for a moment, and seeing that Gu Si Yi remained silent, she directly said, "What she said makes sense. I'll go call the waiter." 0

As soon as she spoke, Gu Si Yi frowned slightly. 0

Wu Yunyun leaned closer to him and whispered, "It's not wasteful." 0

The private room fell silent. When she returned, it was just her and Gu Si Yi left inside. 0

Gu Si Yi looked at the plastic bag in her hand and sat down, waiting for her to fill it with food. "If you want to eat in the future, just tell me directly. I'll bring you here," he finally said after a long pause. He knew that these leftovers were not hygienic. 0

Wu Yunyun, who was tying up the plastic bag, paused for a moment. She didn't look at him and weakly replied with an acknowledgment. 0

On the way back, they didn't speak. 0

Wu Yunyun carried the food back and placed it in the freezer. After finishing all this, she slumped onto the sofa. She wasn't unaware of the gap between them; it was just that experiencing it firsthand was truly painful. 0
