Han Hanyue had a pure and flawless face that made Wu Yunyun unable to resist stealing a few more glances at her. 0

"When are you planning to break up with Gu Si Yi?" Han Hanyue pressed. 0

Wu Yunyun was taken aback. "Why would I break up with him?" 0

Han Hanyue sighed deeply. "Why are you pretending to be confused? You're with him for his money, aren't you? Just name a number, and I can satisfy your needs." 0

Wu Yunyun's eyes widened in disbelief. "So, you want to pay me off?" 0

"I have Gu Si Yi already; why would I need your money? You may be wealthy, but is your money more than his?" Wu Yunyun retorted. 0

"You're with him just for his money?" Han Hanyue questioned again. 0

"Otherwise, what do you think it is?" Wu Yunyun shot back, unwilling to admit her feelings for Gu Si Yi in front of an outsider. She understood all too well that in this relationship, she was the one in a subordinate position. The initiative was entirely in Gu Si Yi's hands. 0

"I didn't expect you to be so honest. But I've seen plenty of thick-skinned people like you. Since you don't want my money, I can only wish you break up with Gu Si Yi soon," Han Hanyue said before turning away without looking back. 0

On her way back to the classroom, she clenched the voice recorder in her pocket, a smile threatening to escape her control. She thought that once Gu Si Yi listened to the recording, he would surely change his mind. 0

In the afternoon, Gu Si Yi listened to their conversation multiple times. When Wu Yunyun spoke, he replayed it several times over. He tossed the voice recorder back to Han Hanyue and said, "My family is wealthy; I won’t lose to her." 0

Han Hanyue frowned tightly. "Are you sure you want to continue this quarrel because of her?" 0

"Wake up! If it's not her, there will be someone else," Gu Si Yi replied before taking back the voice recorder. "If I find out you're bullying her, don’t blame me for being rude." 0

His words were devoid of any gentleness, and after saying that, he ignored Han Hanyue's expression and left the classroom. 0

That evening, on their way home together, Gu Si Yi told Wu Yunyun about listening to the recording. He understood her well; she usually seemed meek and submissive, but occasionally he could catch glimpses of affection for him in her eyes. 0

It was just a bit regrettable that she always loved to be elusive. After all, even if they broke up, it wouldn’t mean much. He admitted that sometimes she was quite adorable, but he was very sure that she wasn’t the type of girlfriend he liked. 0

His friends, the people around him, and his environment all indirectly told him that someone compatible with him would come from a wealthy family. Someone like her had never been within his consideration. 0

Being with her was merely a refreshing experience. 0

Wu Yunyun blushed, feeling a bit awkward and flustered. She stammered as she explained, “I-I said that just to annoy her.” 0

“Hmm, but you hurt me too,” he teased her on purpose. 0

“I’m sorry! What can I do to make you not mad?” 0

Gu Si Yi bent down and pointed to his left cheek. “If you give me a kiss, I won’t be mad anymore.” 0

Wu Yunyun glanced around and saw that there weren’t many people. She tiptoed and quickly pressed a kiss on his cheek. After that, she hurriedly ran away. 0

Gu Si Yi touched his cheek and looked at the distant crowd, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. To his surprise, this scene lingered in his mind for a long time. 0
