When Gu Si Yi let her go, Wu Yunyun's lips were already flushed. He looked at her, unable to resist, and gently pecked her again.
Wu Yunyun pressed her lips together, gazing at him with misty eyes. She sensed his change and found it curious that he had desires for her. After all, among the women he had encountered, she was the most ordinary one.
Gu Si Yi held Wu Yunyun in his arms and whispered in her ear, "How about we go on a date tomorrow?"
Wu Yunyun nodded. "Is there anything you want to do?"
"Does your house have a cinema? How about we watch a movie together?" Wu Yunyun replied, now not wanting to go out with him. Since it wasn't permanent, there was no need for everyone to know.
"Alright, you get up, wash up, and have breakfast first." Gu Si Yi tousled her hair; he wished he could stick to her for twenty-four hours.
Wu Yunyun gently pushed him away. "You wait outside for me; I need to use the bathroom."
"Okay."
As Wu Yunyun watched Gu Si Yi walk away, she entered the bathroom. Looking at herself in the mirror, her face was smeared with blush, and she felt somewhat helpless about it. After all this time, she still hadn't matured; she was always worried about losing something.
This time, she would control herself well; when the moment came, she would definitely not show even a hint of reluctance towards him.
Looking at the sink, Wu Yunyun noticed that he had already prepared a toiletry bag for her and even labeled it with her name. She picked it up and stared at it for a while before taking out a pink cup to brush her teeth.
Gu Si Yi was waiting for her at the dining table downstairs. When he saw her come down, he walked over and pulled her to sit beside him.
Wu Yunyun looked at the food on the table—ordinary soy milk, steamed buns, and fried dough sticks meant for two. She sat down and said to Gu Si Yi, "Thank you for breakfast."
"You're welcome." Gu Si Yi leaned over and placed a kiss on her forehead.
The two quietly finished their breakfast before heading off to work. During her break, Wu Yunyun remembered to ask Yu Chan about what happened last night.
"He's not even my cousin. Just for a trivial matter, he called me out. Anyway, enough about me. How did things go with Xiao Qu last night?"
"Yesterday, Gu Si Yi brought me back, and I even kissed him forcefully."
"What? Wu Yunyun? What's going on here?" Yu Chan sat up straight from the sofa, her mind racing as she tried to figure out how she and Gu Si Yi ended up entangled again.
"That's just how it is; now we're together."
Yu Chan's mouth dropped open in shock, large enough to fit an egg inside. After a moment, she finally remembered to close it. "Alright then, sister, good luck!"
Although Yu Chan had never been in a relationship, she understood that matters between men and women were always a mutual agreement—one willing to pursue and the other willing to be pursued. She wasn't directly involved, so she had no right to judge.
"Remember, if you ever get hurt, your sister will have your back!"
"Thank you, Chan Bao. With those words, I feel reassured."
"Enough with the mushy stuff." Yu Chan recalled how Wu Yunyun looked after her breakup; she seemed the same as usual but had lost quite a bit of weight.
"This time, we can only hope for a good outcome for them."
"As your sister, let me share another tip: men are creatures that think with their lower halves. If you want to keep him around, you need to put in some effort in that area."
Wu Yunyun's face flushed with embarrassment. "Wait a minute! We just got together; isn't it a bit early to talk about this?"
"It's not early at all, Wu Yunyun! Don't wait until you lose him to regret it; you need to seize the opportunities that come your way!"
There was some truth to that.
"One day, I'll go shopping with you for clothes—sexy ones. How does that sound?"
"Sure, but we need to wait a bit. Right now, I'm afraid I'll scare him off." Wu Yunyun bit her lip and agreed.
She could sense that Gu Si Yi was interested in her body; this morning, she noticed his change in demeanor.
As long as they were mutually satisfied, that was good enough.
After hearing this, Yu Chan couldn't help but laugh. At least now Wu Yunyun was braver than before.
