After work in the evening, Wu Yunyun passed by a snack shop and bought some chips and other small snacks in advance. She was genuinely worried that the two of them wouldn't have much to talk about. 0

In the morning, Gu Si Yi had given her a key. When she returned home and opened the door, she found Gu Si Yi waiting for her in the living room. As soon as he saw her come back, he moved closer and took the bag of snacks from her hands. "I bought some too," he said, gesturing to the sofa. 0

Wu Yunyun glanced at the sofa, which was piled with two shopping bags filled to the brim. "I didn't know what you liked, so I bought a bit of everything," Gu Si Yi explained. 0

"Thank you," Wu Yunyun replied with a smile. "Have you eaten dinner yet?" 0

"Not yet, but I ordered takeout," Gu Si Yi said. When Wu Yunyun changed her shoes, he pulled her close and hugged her. "If I get off work early in the future, let's have dinner together." 0

Wu Yunyun nestled into Gu Si Yi's embrace and nodded after a moment. She wasn't sure how others experienced love, but she found herself wanting to linger at his place. 0

After holding each other for a while, Gu Si Yi naturally leaned down to kiss her chin, then her nose bridge, and finally pressed his lips against hers. Wu Yunyun clutched his shirt and tilted her head to meet his kiss. She noticed that he wore a woodsy fragrance that smelled wonderful. 0

After a while, he pulled away from her lips. The food hadn't arrived yet, so they had to settle for teasing their appetites first. Wu Yunyun held onto him and instinctively asked, "Do you do this with other people too?" 0

As soon as she spoke, she wished she could bite off her own tongue—what a buzzkill! "You really want to know?" Gu Si Yi teased, but his lips curled into a smile because of her question. 0

"Not really, haha. I just... um," Wu Yunyun stammered, unsure how to continue. 0

Seeing her flustered expression, Gu Si Yi leaned in to kiss her again. He never did answer her question. 0

Dinner consisted of light foods that were easy to digest. In passing conversation, Gu Si Yi mentioned his job. "I'm currently teaching at Da Ren University, focusing on financial knowledge." 0

His words were casual, but they struck a chord with Wu Yunyun; she suddenly remembered a novel she had read in middle school titled "Jas, The Paranoid Professor Is A Wolf." 0

There were many moments in which the relationship between the male and female leads deepened. The male lead was a University Professor, and what left a strong impression on her was that this was one of the few physical books she had purchased. 0

Wu Yunyun felt a bit embarrassed and asked, "Why did you choose to become a university teacher?" 0

Gu Si Yi looked at her deeply for a moment before replying, "I wanted to experience it." 0

Wu Yunyun nodded, "That's impressive." Beyond that, she didn't know what else to say. Whenever she faced him, she always felt awkward. Her own life, her work, or anything else seemed unworthy of sharing with him. 0

"How's your work?" he asked. 0

"It's just daily service to others, busy from morning till night. It's quite fulfilling," she replied. 0

Gu Si Yi nodded, "I'll come by your shop one day." 0

"You might want to skip that. If you want coffee, I can brew it for you at home," she suggested. 0

Gu Si Yi didn't quite understand what she was thinking but still responded positively. 0

After dinner, they went to Gu Si Yi's private cinema. It was spacious, not much different from renting out an entire theater. 0

"I've never brought anyone here before," he said. 0

"What do you want to watch?" 0

"A light comedy, perhaps?" Wu Yunyun thought for a long time before answering. 0

"Alright." Gu Si Yi looked at her for a moment longer, then searched for a film on his phone and clicked play. 0

As Wu Yunyun watched, she soon realized something was off; this was clearly a romance movie. 0
