I was about to break up with Gu Si Yi. I'm sorry, but I really can't help you.
After saying this, Wu Yunyun walked away. As she stepped out, she saw Gu Si Yi waiting for her in the hallway. Her face paled for a moment, but she quickly composed herself. "Were you waiting for me?"
Gu Si Yi nodded.
"Then let's go." Wu Yunyun took his hand, but soon found her hand being firmly grasped in return. He held on tightly.
Wu Yunyun endured the pressure for a while but finally couldn't hold back. She said to him, "Gu Si Yi, my hand hurts a little."
Gu Si Yi said nothing and led her to the underground parking garage. Wu Yunyun knew he had heard her.
These past few days, she had been avoiding him, but some issues had to be faced. Turning to him, she gathered her courage. "Gu Si Yi, I've really enjoyed the time we've spent together, but even the happiest moments have to come to an end. We actually don’t need to wait until three days from now."
Gu Si Yi lowered his head, quietly listening to Wu Yunyun's words. After she finished speaking, his eyes turned red as he asked hoarsely, "Wu Yunyun, what do you take me for? During this time, did you really not have any feelings for me at all?"
Wu Yunyun opened her mouth; she wanted to say that she liked him very much, but what difference would that make? The gap between them was always there.
Taking a deep breath, she replied, "Gu Si Yi, we’re not suited for each other." Just like many years ago, she returned those words to him.
"Why aren’t we suited?" Gu Si Yi stared at her, pressing her for an answer.
"Do I really have to say it?" Wu Yunyun's eyes turned red as well; she couldn't hold back any longer and let the tears fall.
Gu Si Yi felt as if his heart was being squeezed painfully. He pulled her into his embrace and wiped away her tears. "Why are you crying? Is it because you don’t want to part with me?"
"I don't."
As soon as Wu Yunyun finished speaking, Gu Si Yi kissed her.
"Say it again!" He pressed his forehead against hers, determined to make her articulate her feelings.
"I—"
Gu Si Yi wouldn’t let her finish; he kissed her again. Eventually, Wu Yunyun found herself breathless in his arms.
"Gu Si Yi, you bastard. He did it on purpose."
"I'm the bastard. If I had known it would come to this, I shouldn't have let you go back in middle school," Gu Si Yi said, his eyes red.
Wu Yunyun's heart trembled. What did he mean by that?
Gu Si Yi didn't explain further. He placed her back in the passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt. "Not even a day less," he said, and drove her to his apartment.
As soon as they entered the house, Gu Si Yi picked her up in his arms.
Then, a storm broke loose.
Wu Yunyun never imagined Gu Si Yi could be so vigorous. His hands gripped hers tightly, as if he wanted to release all his pent-up energy.
Wu Yunyun begged for mercy, but he turned a deaf ear. In the end, she fainted from exhaustion.
The next day, when Wu Yunyun got out of bed, her legs felt weak and she twisted her ankle. She let out a cry, successfully drawing Gu Si Yi's attention.
Seeing Wu Yunyun grimacing on the floor, Gu Si Yi rushed over and scooped her up into his arms. "Are you hurt?"
Wu Yunyun winced in pain, furrowing her brows and scolding him several times. She had initially thought about leaving a good impression before parting ways, but now it seemed completely unnecessary.
Gu Si Yi wasn't angry; instead, he called the family doctor over.
He watched Wu Yunyun sitting on the bed like a little tiger, and couldn't help but smile. In recent days, she had rarely shown her emotions; only during intimate moments did she cling to him tightly.
He knew she was secretly planning for the day she would leave.
If she knew his true feelings, would she still choose to leave?
