Although time was tight, Gu Si Yi still prepared himself. After returning home, he took a shower and changed into a clean outfit.
Wu Yunyun watched as Gu Si Yi came in and out of the fitting room, knowing that he was also quite nervous. In contrast, Gu Si Yi and Wu Yunyun remained calm. "Sun Aunty," he said as he introduced himself as Wu Yunyun's boyfriend for the first time, "I've brought some gifts for you. I hope you won't mind." He placed the gift boxes on the ground.
Wu's Mother immediately grabbed the boxes and threw them all outside. She glared at Wu Yunyun and shouted angrily, "Who allowed you to be with the young master? Was it you who seduced him?" The more she thought about it, the angrier she became; her lifetime reputation seemed destined to be ruined by her daughter.
Before Wu Yunyun could react, she received a slap from her own mother.
She covered her face, looking at her mother in disbelief. "Mom, what are you doing?"
Before she could finish her sentence, tears began to fall.
Wu's Mother angrily said, "I'm talking about you, you reckless child! Do you think someone of our status can associate with someone like him? I command you to break up with him immediately!"
She didn't need to guess; Gu Si Yi probably thought she was a novelty and just wanted to play with her.
That ungrateful girl would end up being sold off and counting someone else's money!
She had to endure the humiliation of living under someone else's thumb and couldn't scold her benefactor, but could she not reprimand her own daughter?
Wu Yunyun felt wronged and couldn't utter a word.
Gu Si Yi directly grabbed Wu Yunyun's shoulders, pulling her into his embrace. He looked angrily at Wu's Mother and said, "Aunt Sun, you are an elder and Wu Yunyun's relative. There are some things I shouldn't say, but you've gone too far! It was my decision to be with Wu Yunyun. If you're willing, we can even get our marriage certificate tomorrow!
