"Brother Nan, don't be discouraged. This is quite common; most beginners experience this," Jin Li said, stifling a laugh as he comforted the stunned Nan Liu Jing. Although he had never witnessed such a situation in the White Tiger Tribe or during battles with other Tornado Masters, that didn't stop him from using hearsay to reassure Nan Liu Jing.
"Is that so? Then I guess I need to practice more." Hearing Jin Li's encouragement, Nan Liu Jing nodded in understanding. He chose not to dwell on whether this was truly typical for first-timers or not. Since Jin Li said so, he would take it at face value; pressing further would only lead to unnecessary discomfort.

"Don't worry; I'll go easy on you when the time comes," Nan Liu Jing bragged. After all, boasting wasn't illegal; if he lost, he would just feel a bit embarrassed.
