In the Tianwu Continent, within the Southern Region of the Great Qin Kingdom, in Dongyang County, there lay a secluded courtyard of the Yun Family Mansion. In one of the rooms, a young man lay on a bed, his complexion pale and his robe stained with blood. Slowly, he opened his eyes.
As he surveyed the ancient decor around him, it felt both familiar and foreign, leaving him in a state of confusion. Suddenly, a wave of memories surged through his mind, sharp and painful, lingering for quite some time before gradually dissipating.
A hint of melancholy crossed the young man's face. Once a promising youth on Earth, he had spent his days helping an elderly woman cross the street and caring for a sister in the alley at night. Such kindness had led him to an unexpected fate—he had crossed over into this fantastical world.
The Tianwu Continent was filled with wonders; powerful beings could soar through the skies, grasp the sun and moon, pluck stars from the heavens, shatter mountains with their fists, and tread upon nothingness—capable of anything.
His original name was Yun Fan, a disciple of the Yun Family, one of the Four Great Families in Dongyang County of the Great Qin Kingdom. After his parents' mysterious disappearance, he was raised by the Third Elder of his family.
However, two years ago, he fell for Liu Ru Yan, a miss from another of the Four Great Families. Captivated by her beauty, he became infatuated and pursued her relentlessly. He devoted all the resources bestowed upon him by his family to win her favor and spent every day training outside to gather more resources just to see her smile.
Just yesterday, after returning from a venture in the Desolate Mountain Range where he had slain numerous beasts and gathered a wealth of resources, he was elated as he headed to the Liu Family to present his offerings to his goddess.
But as he pushed open the courtyard door and stepped inside, he suddenly heard intermittent soft moans coming from within! Through the window, he caught glimpses of shadows moving about as if they were pushing against something.
Occasionally, there was a sound like a slap—perhaps someone swatting at mosquitoes. Then came a sweet voice from within the room: "Ke Ge, you’re so bad!"
Upon witnessing this scene, Yun Fan stood frozen in shock, disbelief filling his eyes as he shouted loudly: "Ru Yan! Ru Yan!"
The two inside the room were startled by his voice, seemingly jolted into awareness.
Moments later, the sound did not cease; instead, it grew more intense, punctuated by intermittent murmurs.
"Are you there, Liu Ru Yan?" came the voice.
"Yun Yunfan, what are you doing here?"
"Hmph!" Yun Fan's eyes widened in disbelief as he shouted into the room.
"Ru Yan, what are you up to?"
Liu Ru Yan let out a soft, delicate hum and replied gently, "Yun Shidi, Ke Ge is just helping me swat away some mosquitoes. Don’t misunderstand."
Upon hearing this, Yun Fan was consumed by rage. He pounded on the door relentlessly, the sound echoing loudly as he screamed in anguish, "Ru Yan, stop lying to me! You must have betrayed me! Open the door quickly! I’m going to kill you both—this pair of adulterers!"
However, the door was sealed with a powerful force, and no matter how hard Yun Fan tried, he could not force it open.
Silence fell over the room for a long while, broken only by muffled sounds from within; there were no echoes in response.
Yun Fan stood there in shock, his face pale and filled with confusion as he stared at the door, appearing somewhat dazed.
After a moment, Liu Ru Yan's weak voice broke through the silence.
"Yun Yunfan, are you there?"
Hearing her voice made Yun Fan's expression shift momentarily to one of joy as he hurriedly asked, "Ru Yan, I’m here!"
