Xu Rong suddenly understood.

Xu Rong felt the burning sensation in his scarred right hand suddenly vanish.
He saw his skin return to normal, and the Glowing Symbols gradually faded away.
"Now," the voice said, "it is time to end this. But before that, you must understand the true meaning of Crispy Pork Skin—it is not only a vessel for genes but also a bridge for understanding."
Xu Rong opened his eyes and found himself back on the playground.
The Giant Figure was slowly dissipating, transforming into specks of glowing light.
The altered children fell one by one, their bodies gradually returning to normal.
Lao Chen rushed over to support Xu Rong: "What happened?"
Xu Rong looked at his right hand, where the scar had vanished completely.
He whispered, "Crispy Pork Skin saved us. It allowed Him to understand humanity and choose to leave."
In the distance, the sound of police sirens grew closer.
Xu Rong knew that this nightmare had finally come to an end.
But deep within his heart, that gentle voice continued to echo:

Three months later, Xu Rong stood on the playground of Third Elementary School.

He recalled the Glowing Symbols from the Underground Factory and the look in the landlady's eyes before she died...
