Yan Qing glanced at Tan Ming, a slight smile playing on his lips. Tan Ming tilted his head slightly, looking at the speaker system fixed to the wall. 0

They exchanged a knowing glance, a silent understanding passing between them, and then quickly made their way toward the classroom. 0

"Hey, Qi Qiuluo!" she called out as she hurried to catch up with them. 0

Ten minutes later, they arrived at their destination. Pushing open the door, they found someone seated around a round conference table. 0

Yan Qing recognized some of the individuals present, but the boy sitting in the center was unfamiliar to him. The boy had soft features and fair skin, but his piercing gaze and serious demeanor made it difficult for anyone to meet his eyes easily. 0

The boy glanced at them, his gaze settling on Tan Ming. Containing his excitement, he shifted his attention to Yan Qing and Qi Qiuluo and asked, "Are you both messengers as well?" 0

"I'm not," Yan Qing replied curtly. 0

"Me neither," Qi Qiuluo quickly added. 0

The boy looked towards the door, and Yan Qing understood immediately, turning to step outside. Qi Qiuluo followed suit. 0

Once outside, Qi Qiuluo complained, "What kind of secret could they possibly have that we can't hear?" 0

Yan Qing shrugged and said, "Anyway, Tan Ming will tell us what happened once he comes out. It doesn't matter whether we're inside or not." 0

Qi Qiuluo's lips twitched in response; he hoped that was true. 0

They waited outside for over ten minutes until everyone finally emerged from the room. Once outside, they dispersed; Shen Jianghuan, Jiang Jie, and the boy from earlier went upstairs while Master Ban, Li Jianping, and Dr. Wang headed downstairs. 0

"To the fourth floor," Tan Ming instructed as he confidently led the way. 0

"The fourth floor?" Yan Qing and Qi Qiuluo asked in unison, confusion evident in their voices. 0

As they walked, Tan Ming explained, "The boy sitting in the middle of the conference room is named Zhang Liu; he's a student from Law School. His role is Prophet; he has predicted some clues regarding the perpetrator." 0

"What clues?" Yan Qing pressed eagerly, his eyes shining with anticipation. 0

Tan Ming glanced at him and then turned to look at Qi Qiuluo, who was closely following behind. There was no hint of concealment in his voice: the murderer left written clues inside this building. 0

"What kind of written clues?" Yan Qing raised an eyebrow, filled with confusion. 0

If the murderer left written clues in this building, it would eliminate the possibility of him being the killer. 0

"I don't know," Tan Ming shook his head, his expression serious. "That's why we need to find out." 0

"Oh," Yan Qing asked him, "Have Shen Jianghuan and the others checked the dormitory list on the library computer?" 0

Tan Ming paused for a moment before shaking his head. "All the dormitory lists have been destroyed." 0

His gaze darkened. 0

"They think it was the system that destroyed them," Tan Ming continued, "because it was done so thoroughly that there are no traces left." 0

Tan Ming didn't share that opinion. 0

"What are we going to do on the fourth floor?" Qi Qiuluo asked. 0

He wasn't in the square and had no idea what had happened. 0

"We're searching for written information," Tan Ming explained simply. "The building has seven floors, and each of us will be responsible for searching one floor. We'll meet back here in one hour." 0

"Yuanhe?" Qi Qiuluo asked, puzzled, his brows knitting together into a frown. 0

"What’s there to discuss about Yuanhe?" 0

Time was running short. Tan Ming's gaze sharpened. "Eight hours have already passed since we started; we need to elect a messenger." 0

This was an obligation to those who were still alive. 0

They had to vote. 0

With that thought, he reached out and pushed open the door. 0
