The morning sunlight shone through the window into Lin Xiaoxiao's room, her eyelids trembled gently, and she slowly opened her eyes. The experiences of last night still lingered in her mind, leaving her feeling a bit lost. She sat up, looked at her hands, and felt a new sense of strength welling up inside her.
She hurriedly got ready and walked out of the house, noticing that the scenery along the way seemed somehow different. She felt the energy stored in her body, a spiritual power she had never experienced before, obtained from Gu sha.
When Lin Xiaoxiao arrived at the school, her steps seemed more determined. She couldn't reveal these secrets to anyone, not even her closest friends. This made her feel an unprecedented sense of loneliness.
As the bell for the end of class rang, Lin Xiaoxiao's mind once again drifted away from her studies. Her thoughts wandered to the distant Yin and Yang realms, and the challenges she was about to face. She felt an indescribable mix of excitement and unease in her heart.
During the lunch break, she sat alone in the corner of the playground, contemplating the contract terms that Gu sha had mentioned. This contract was not just a commitment, but also a responsibility and a bond. She had to learn how to use this new power and take on the heavy responsibility of protecting the world.
After the afternoon classes, Lin Xiaoxiao hurriedly left the school. She needed to find a quiet place to truly feel and control this new power. She arrived at a secluded park where, aside from the gentle rustling of the trees, there was almost no other sound.
Lin Xiaoxiao closed her eyes, trying to sense the spiritual energy she had obtained from Gu sha. She felt a faint but resilient force flowing within her, like a warm stream gently nourishing her body and mind.
Suddenly, she felt an unusual vibration, as if something was calling out to her. Slowly opening her eyes, she found her vision becoming unusually clear, even sensing the vitality of every tree around her. This sensation both surprised and excited her, as she realized that this was her newly acquired ability.
At that moment, a gloomy voice sounded in her ear: "Lin Xiaoxiao, have you started to feel that power?" She turned to look, and Gu sha was standing in the nearby shadows, his eyes showing a hint of affirmation.
"Yes, Gu sha. I can feel that power within me," Lin Xiaoxiao replied, her tone tinged with uncertainty.
Gu sha slowly walked over and stood in front of her. "This power will become the bridge for you to communicate with the Yin and Yang realms, but you must learn how to control it. Otherwise, it may become a burden for you," he said seriously.
Lin Xiaoxiao nodded, knowing that every word Gu sha said was extremely important. "I will. I will work hard to learn and not let this power become a burden for me."
Gu sha looked at her, a hint of satisfaction flashing in his eyes. "Very good, Lin Xiaoxiao. Your determination is strong, and I believe you can do it."
After speaking, Gu sha reached out his hand, gesturing for Lin Xiaoxiao to follow him into a more secluded corner of the park. Lin Xiaoxiao nervously and excitedly followed his footsteps. They arrived at a clearing shielded by dense trees, far from the crowd, suitable for special training.
Gu sha turned around and looked at Lin Xiaoxiao with a serious gaze. "Now, I will teach you how to control and use your power. First, you need to learn to sense and guide the spiritual energy within your body," he said calmly, but each word carried authority.
Lin Xiaoxiao nodded and concentrated. Following Gu sha's guidance, she began to try to sense the spiritual energy within her body. Under Gu sha's careful instruction, she gradually felt a warm flow moving within her body, a wonderful sensation she had never experienced before.

Lin Xiaoxiao nervously tightened her grip on the spirit detector in her hand, her heart racing. This was her first time facing a real evil spirit under Gu sha's guidance.
Gu sha pulled her hand and led her to track the ominous aura. They swiftly moved through the trees in the park and eventually found the evil spirit by a small lake. It was a vague human-shaped shadow, wandering by the lake, emitting a chilling wail.
Gu sha stood still, placing Lin Xiaoxiao behind him. "Watch closely, this is how to deal with an evil spirit," he said in a low voice, while drawing a long, slender sword from his sleeve.
Lin Xiaoxiao held her breath, watching every move of Gu sha. Gu sha raised his sword, and the tip of the sword emitted a faint blue light. He moved his body gracefully, dodging the attacks of the evil spirits while searching for the best opportunity to strike back.
Suddenly, Gu sha rushed forward with a swift step, aiming the tip of his sword directly at the core of the evil spirit. A dazzling light flashed, and the evil spirit let out a wail, then dispersed into countless points of light in the air.
Gu sha turned around and looked at Lin Xiaoxiao. "This is the way to combat evil spirits. Every evil spirit has its own weakness, and you must learn to discover and exploit these weaknesses," his voice revealed seriousness and earnestness.
Lin Xiaoxiao took a deep breath, her heart filled with shock and awe. She knew she had a long way to go, but under Gu sha's guidance, she believed she could become an excellent Taoist exorcist.
The night fell, and Lin Xiaoxiao and Gu sha left the park together.
As they walked away from the park, the scene from earlier kept replaying in Lin Xiaoxiao's mind. Every detail left her feeling shocked and intrigued. Gu sha's figure appeared particularly mysterious in the night, and every movement of his was filled with strength and dignity.
Walking to a quiet street corner, Gu sha suddenly stopped and turned to face Lin Xiaoxiao. There was a hint of subtle concern in his eyes. "Lin Xiaoxiao, tonight's training ends here. In the days to come, you will need to practice on your own, consolidating and improving your control of psychic abilities."
Lin Xiaoxiao nodded, her eyes revealing determination. "I understand. I will practice diligently according to your guidance."
Gu sha gave a slight smile, a rare moment of gentleness for him. "You have potential, Lin Xiaoxiao. However, remember not to easily reveal your power, especially in front of ordinary people. This world is not entirely ready to accept our existence."
Lin Xiaoxiao solemnly agreed, feeling a great sense of responsibility weighing on her shoulders. She cherished Gu sha's teachings immensely, while also experiencing a strange sense of attachment.
Gu sha deeply looked at Lin Xiaoxiao as if scrutinizing her soul. "I need to return to the underworld to handle some matters. If there's an emergency, you can contact me through the spirit communicator. Remember, no matter what difficulties you encounter, stay calm and wise."
After saying these words, Gu sha's figure began to blur and gradually dissipated into the night, leaving Lin Xiaoxiao alone standing on the street corner, watching his disappearing direction, her heart filled with complex emotions.
Lin Xiaoxiao took a deep breath and turned towards home. The night breeze gently brushed her cheeks, and in her heart, there was both fear of the unknown and anticipation for the future. Her own life had completely changed, and from now on, she would embark on a path filled with challenges and wonders.
