"Do you suspect me?" Li Jianping glared.
The Master Ban ’s expression darkened. "Yes."
Li Jianping cursed under his breath, "I was completely panicked back then! I didn't even think before I spoke! I never imagined there would be evidence pointing to my suspicion! This is more unjust than a dog!"
He ran his fingers through his hair in frustration; the feeling of being disbelieved was utterly terrible!
Ling Xingyuan spoke up and moved on to the next person. "I still suspect the werewolf," Zhang Liu said.
"I also suspect the werewolf," Jiang Jie added.
Zhang Liu continued, "But I think Li Jianping is the most likely to have poisoned."
"It wasn't me who poisoned! Why is it that no one believes Li Jianping, who is practically about to explode with frustration?" He was indeed irritated, especially so!
Shen Jianghuan glanced at Yan Qing and then at Li Jianping. "I haven't made up my mind yet."
Fan Xiaonan remained firm in her belief. "I suspect the werewolf."
Tan Ming said, "I will remain neutral."
Ling Xingyuan stated, "I still want to vote for the chef." His vote against the chef was purely personal.
Tan Ming continued, "This time we must vote to eliminate someone. Our suspicions could all be valid; everyone has their own judgment about who the killer is and who isn't, so please vote according to your own thoughts."
"Alright." Zhang Liu was the first to initiate the vote.
The Red Card lit up momentarily.
A minute later, the system's voice echoed. "This vote was initiated by the Prophet. Now, let’s announce the results: The Prophet voted to eliminate the doctor, the Mage voted to eliminate the doctor, the Thief voted to eliminate the doctor, the Sorcerer voted to eliminate the doctor, the Traveler voted to eliminate the doctor, the Wizard voted to eliminate the doctor, the Werewolf voted to eliminate the doctor, and the Spellcaster voted to eliminate the doctor. The doctor voted to eliminate the chef, while Destruction voted to eliminate the werewolf."
In total, there were votes for the doctor, one for the chef, and one for the werewolf. Observers included Jiang Shi and the chef.
The cold voice of the system faded away, and flames ignited around Qi Qiuluo. Everyone was taken aback. Jiang Shi and the chef were surprised by the voting results, while Shen Jianghuan and his group were astonished by Tong Chengjie's involvement. Wasn't he a doctor?

He was torn inside. The student's injuries were severe but not fatal. Qi Qiuluo understood deeply what it felt like to endure pain before death—a kind of excruciating clarity that was hard to bear.
In desperation, he sent out a distress signal, hoping other abilities would come to help him. Yet during that waiting period, listening to the student's cries of anguish became unbearable for him. The pleading gaze of the student turned towards him, silently begging for relief from his suffering.
Their eyes met—Qi Qiuluo's gaze overlapping with Jiang Li's. His greatest regret was that after Jiang Li's death, he awakened to his abilities; however, Jiang Li had already been dead for more than fifteen minutes, leaving him unable to resurrect him.
At that moment, Qi Qiuluo made a decision. He approached the injured student and, with a knife in hand, killed him. It was such an ironic twist; instead of bringing someone back to life as he had done before, he had taken a life with his own hands.
Qi Qiuluo was overwhelmed with panic. Deeply engulfed in the fear of having committed murder, he ran out of the classroom. In agony, he looked at the Red Card in his hand, feeling that it was no longer his talisman for protection but rather a harbinger of death.
