Mu Yunze felt a surge of anger rise to his head; he wished he could punch Zhang Xiaowei's hypocritical face. But he knew that acting impulsively would only make things worse. He suppressed his fury and coldly said, "Zhang Xiaowei, we'll see about that!" 0

With that, Mu Yunze turned and left the student council office. As he walked back to his dormitory, he continuously thought about his next steps. He understood that Zhang Xiaowei had come prepared this time, and he needed to find evidence quickly to clear his name. 0

Upon returning to his dorm, Mu Yunze shared the situation with Kong Haoyu. After hearing the story, Kong Haoyu was furious and cursed, "That Zhang Xiaowei is such a petty person! Don’t worry, Mu Yunze, I will help you get to the bottom of this!" 0

Just then, Mu Yunze's phone rang; it was Han Jincheng calling. "Mu Yunze, where are you? I heard you were being bullied by the student council—is it true?" Han Jincheng's voice was filled with concern. 0

Mu Yunze didn’t want to worry her and feigned nonchalance. "It's nothing serious; just a small issue. I’ll handle it." 0

"Really? Don’t lie to me," Han Jincheng replied skeptically. 0

"I promise I’m not lying," Mu Yunze said firmly. "Just wait for me; I’m coming to see you." 0

After hanging up, Mu Yunze hurried to Han Jincheng's dormitory. He needed to find a breakthrough quickly; otherwise, Zhang Xiaowei would ruin him. 0

At the foot of Han Jincheng's dorm building, Mu Yunze paced back and forth, feeling anxious. He tried hard to calm himself down but couldn’t suppress the agitation bubbling inside him. Han Jincheng’s worried voice echoed in his ears; he didn’t want her to get involved in this pointless conflict. 0

"Mu Yunze!" Han Jincheng's voice came from behind him, laced with a hint of joy. 0

Mu Yunze turned around and saw Han Jincheng running out of the dormitory with a radiant smile on her face. She resembled a happy little bird as she rushed toward him and linked her arm with his. 0

"You’re okay, right? I was so worried!" Han Jincheng looked up at him earnestly. 0

Looking into her clear eyes warmed Mu Yunze's heart; he gently shook his head. "It’s nothing serious." 0

"Really?" Han Jincheng seemed unconvinced as she scrutinized his face. "But you don’t look well." 0

"I’m really fine," Mu Yunze reassured her as he lightly patted her hand. "Don’t worry; I’ll be okay." 0

Only then did Han Jincheng relax. She took Mu Yunze for a stroll around campus, chattering about amusing things happening at school in an attempt to distract him. 0

Though Mu Yunze pretended to listen attentively on the surface, his mind had already drifted far away. He needed to find evidence quickly to free himself from Zhang Xiaowei’s accusations. 0

As he pushed open the dormitory door, Mu Yunze immediately spotted Kong Haoyu sitting upright and waiting for him, holding a stack of documents as if fully prepared. 0

"Mu Yunze! You’re finally back!" Kong Haoyu exclaimed eagerly upon seeing him. "I’ve found out some news that you absolutely won’t believe!" 0

Mu Yunze raised an eyebrow, signaling him to continue. 0

Kong Haoyu lowered his voice mysteriously. "Zhang Xiaowei has been getting really close to Su Wanqing lately. They often go in and out of the library and cafeteria together, and some people even saw them going to the movies." 0

"Su Wanqing?" Mu Yunze's mind conjured up the image of the girl who always wore a sweet smile but made him feel a twinge of unease—Class Flower's roommate. Could this be related to Class Flower? he wondered. 0

"Yes, that roommate of Class Flower," Kong Haoyu seemed to read his thoughts and added, "I heard that Su Wanqing has had a crush on Zhang Xiaowei for a long time. This time, Zhang Xiaowei's scheme against you might very well be encouraged by Su Wanqing from behind the scenes." 0

Kong Haoyu paused for a moment, flipping through the materials in his hands before continuing, "I also found out that Su Wanqing once confessed her feelings to Zhang Xiaowei, but she was rejected." 0
