Chu Mohan took a notebook out of her backpack and handed it to him. "This is my organized notes. Take a look; it might help you." 0

Mu Yunze accepted the notebook, and as his fingers accidentally brushed against hers, a jolt of electricity surged through him. He quickly withdrew his hand, his cheeks flushing slightly. 0

"Thank you," he said, lowering his head, unable to meet Chu Mohan's gaze. 0

"No need to thank me," Chu Mohan replied with a smile before turning to leave the classroom. 0

Mu Yunze watched her retreating figure, feeling a mix of emotions. He was unsure of what he felt for Chu Mohan—was it friendship or something deeper? All he knew was that being with her made him feel an unprecedented sense of ease and happiness. 0

Holding Chu Mohan's notes felt like cradling a fluttering little bird in his hands, and his heart raced in an erratic rhythm. He wandered aimlessly around the campus, his mind filled with thoughts of Chu Mohan's gentle smile and her faint, refreshing scent. He tried hard to shake these thoughts away, reminding himself that he was already with Han Jincheng and shouldn’t develop feelings for other girls. 0

"What are you thinking about? You look so lost." A crisp voice interrupted his thoughts. 0

Mu Yunze looked up to see Han Jincheng standing in front of him with a bright smile, holding a cup of milk tea. "Here you go." 0

He took the milk tea and forced a smile. "Thank you." 0

Han Jincheng seemed to sense something was off. "What's wrong? Are you feeling down?" 0

After hesitating for a moment, Mu Yunze decided to share what had just happened with Chu Mohan. He didn’t want to hide anything. 0

Once he finished recounting the encounter, Han Jincheng didn’t seem upset at all; instead, she laughed and patted his shoulder. "I thought it was something serious! Chu Mohan is just the study representative helping you catch up on lessons. You're overthinking it." 0

Realizing she was right, Mu Yunze felt a weight lift off his chest. 0

That evening, when Han Jincheng returned to the dormitory, she unexpectedly found Class Flower, who had been missing for quite some time. 0

The dorm was filled with a faint musty smell mixed with cheap perfume that made Han Jincheng uncomfortable. The setting sun cast weak rays through the dirty glass window onto the floor, illuminating tiny dust particles floating in the air. Class Flower sat on her bed, looking frail as if she might vanish at any moment. 0

Her complexion was alarmingly pale, devoid of any color; her lips were cracked like wilted rose petals. Her eyes were hollow and lifeless, staring blankly ahead as if she had lost focus—and perhaps even her soul. Since that ridiculous bet from last time, Class Flower had rarely been seen at school; everyone thought she had transferred, yet here she was again. 0

"Why are you back?" Han Jincheng asked in surprise, disbelief evident in her tone. 0

Class Flower slowly lifted her head, finally focusing her gaze on Han Jincheng’s face. Her eyes pierced through Han Jincheng like a sharp blade, striking at her heart. Her voice was hoarse and terrifying, like sandpaper scraping against metal: "Are you with Mu Yunze now?" 0

Han Jincheng froze for a moment; her heart sank sharply as she hadn’t expected Class Flower to ask that question so suddenly. 0
