"Enough!" Ye Jingtai interrupted him, "You have both witnesses and evidence; do you still want to argue? Let me tell you, this matter is far from over! I will make you pay for this!" 0

After saying that, Ye Jingtai left with his followers, leaving Mu Yunze to face the pointed fingers and whispers of his classmates alone. 0

Mu Yunze felt like a trapped beast, ensnared in a pit from which he could not escape no matter how hard he struggled. He stood there in a daze, unsure of what to do next. The air in the hospital was stifling, making it hard to breathe. He felt like an insect caught in a spider's web, unable to move. Dazed, he walked out of the hospital, his mind buzzing with thoughts. Liu Feng's injury, Ye Jingtai's mocking laughter, and the disdainful looks from his classmates all tangled together like a chaotic mess, suffocating him. 0

Back at school, rumors spread like wildfire. As Mu Yunze walked through the hallways, he felt countless eyes piercing into him like needles, and the whispers were relentless. 0

"Look, that's Mu Yunze, the one who hurt Liu Feng!" 0
"Who would have thought? He seems so honest usually, but he's actually so ruthless!" 0
"I heard Liu Feng was beaten badly—his head was bleeding; he’ll probably be in the hospital for days!" 0

Gritting his teeth, Mu Yunze quickened his pace, desperate to escape the suffocating atmosphere. When he returned to his dormitory, he collapsed onto his bed and buried his face in the pillow, wishing he could disappear. 0

"Mu Yunze, are you okay?" A gentle voice broke through his despair. 0

He lifted his head to see Chu Mohan standing by his bed, concern etched on her face. 0

"Chu Mohan," Mu Yunze's voice was hoarse and tinged with grievance. "They’re all wronging me; I really didn’t hit Liu Feng." 0

Chu Mohan sat down beside him and gently patted his shoulder. "I know. I believe you." 0

"But no one believes me." Mu Yunze's eyes reddened. "Ye Jingtai insists it was me who did it; even Liu Feng is giving false testimony. I can't defend myself." 0

A flicker of determination crossed Chu Mohan's eyes. "Don't worry; I will help you." 0

The next day, Chu Mohan went directly to their counselor and recounted the entire situation in detail, firmly stating that Mu Yunze was innocent. 0

"Teacher Wang," she said earnestly, "I know Liu Feng was injured, but Mu Yunze would never do something like that. He has a gentle personality and never gets into fights." 0

The counselor frowned, clearly skeptical. "But Liu Feng identified him as the attacker, and other students also witnessed it." 0

"Those students only saw Mu Yunze arguing with Liu Feng; they didn’t see him hit anyone. Besides, Ye Jingtai and Liu Feng have a conflict; they could very well be colluding to frame Mu Yunze." Chu Mohan argued passionately, her tone resolute. 0

After pondering for a moment, the counselor replied, "I will investigate this matter thoroughly. Until we get to the bottom of it, I hope you all can remain calm." 0

As Chu Mohan left the office, she took a deep breath; the heavy weight on her heart finally lifted. She believed that once the truth came to light, Mu Yunze’s innocence would be proven. 0
