Only Mu Yunze and Chu Mohan stood out clearly, like two thorns deeply embedded in her heart. She had once thought that Mu Yunze was just one of her many admirers, someone she could summon and dismiss at will. 0

But now, he stood on the podium, shining brightly, yet no longer belonging to her. A wave of inexplicable irritation washed over her, as if a fire was burning in her chest. 0

Damn it! The Class Flower muttered under her breath, suddenly standing up and knocking over the chair beside her with a loud crash. People around her turned to look, but she paid them no mind as she rushed out of the competition venue. 0

The air outside was cool and refreshing, yet it did nothing to alleviate the turmoil within her. She walked aimlessly, the images of Mu Yunze and Chu Mohan smiling at each other replaying in her mind. 0

She couldn’t understand why Mu Yunze had chosen Chu Mohan when she was clearly more beautiful and came from a better family. Was this what they called love? The Class Flower chuckled bitterly, a sour taste rising in her heart. 0

She entered a convenience store and bought a bottle of beer, downing it in one go. The alcohol provided a slight numbness but only amplified the emptiness inside her. 0

Stumbling into a secluded corner piled with discarded cardboard boxes that emitted a faint musty smell, she kicked one aside and leaned against the cold wall, slowly sitting down. She twisted off the cap of another beer bottle and took a long swig. The icy liquid slid down her throat, offering a brief thrill but failing to dispel her inner gloom. 0

As night fell, the dim streetlights cast weak glows that elongated her shadow. The light illuminated her desolate expression, making her appear like a forsaken soul. Her eyes were vacant as she stared at the twinkling lights of the city, her thoughts drifting aimlessly. 0

All of this was observed from the shadows by Su Wanqing. She stood quietly in the darkness, watching every move of the Class Flower with keen interest. Seeing her in such despair brought a barely perceptible smirk to Su Wanqing’s lips, a glimmer of triumph flashing in her eyes. Slowly, she took out her phone and dialed a number, coldly instructing, "Proceed according to plan." 0

The bitterness of the beer spread in the Class Flower's mouth, mirroring her current feelings—bitter and helpless. She staggered along the path back to the dormitory; the streetlights blurred into fuzzy circles in her vision, making it feel as though the entire world was spinning around her. The evening breeze brought a hint of coolness but did nothing to dispel the heat and frustration within. 0

"Hey there, all alone? Want to hang out with us?" 0

Two figures suddenly emerged from the darkness, blocking the Class Flower's path. Their lewd voices made her stomach churn. She looked up to see two greasy faces adorned with unsightly features and eyes gleaming with repulsive intent. 0

"Get lost!" The Class Flower frowned in disgust; the alcohol had stripped away her usual grace and composure, making her voice sharp. 0

"Oh, feisty!" One of the thugs reached out to touch her face with an overly familiar tone. "I like you just like this." 0

The Class Flower recoiled sharply, filled with revulsion and anger. "Don't touch me! What do you want?" 0

"We just want to be friends," another thug chuckled lewdly. "It's dangerous for a girl to be out alone at this hour; let us escort you." 0

The Class Flower scoffed coldly. "I don’t need your fake kindness!" She turned to leave but found herself blocked by both thugs on either side. 0

"Trying to leave? Not so easy!" One thug in a black shirt grabbed her arm tightly and pulled her into his embrace. 0

"Let go of me!" The Class Flower struggled but could not break free from his grip. 0
