Mu Yunze shook his head, his eyes filled with complexity. Although she had done many outrageous things before, he hesitated to speak this time, feeling that the situation was not as simple as it seemed.
The tranquility of the library was suddenly shattered by a commotion as several students rushed in, whispering among themselves. "Have you heard? The police are here!"
"The police? What are they doing at school?"
"To arrest someone! They say it's related to the Class Flower incident!"
Mu Yunze exchanged a glance with Chu Mohan, both of them shocked by the news.
In the following days, the campus buzzed with rumors and gossip, as if it had exploded. Some claimed that the Class Flower was actually wronged, while others said Ye Jingtai orchestrated everything. There were even whispers that Zhao Qing was seeking revenge out of jealousy. Various versions circulated, making it hard to discern the truth.
Mu Yunze found himself deeply puzzled. He couldn't shake the feeling that the truth was more complicated than it appeared. Despite the Class Flower's arrogant and domineering personality, he couldn't believe she would do something so extreme. He began to pay close attention to everything around him, trying to find any clues.
As time passed, interest in the Class Flower incident gradually waned, and everyone seemed to accept the fact that she had been expelled. Just when everything appeared to settle down, an even more shocking event occurred.
One day during class, Mu Yunze suddenly heard a commotion outside the classroom. Curiously, he leaned out to see several uniformed police officers standing in the hallway. One of them pointed at Su Wanqing's seat and sternly said, "Su Wanqing, you are suspected of involvement in the Class Flower rape case. Come with us!"
The classroom erupted in chaos. Su Wanqing? The quiet girl who seemed so gentle? How could she be involved?
Su Wanqing's face turned pale, her lips trembling as she struggled to speak. When the police took her away, her eyes were vacant, as if her soul had been stripped away.
Mu Yunze stood frozen in place, his mind blank. He never imagined that Su Wanqing could be behind everything.
He recalled seeing Su Wanqing arguing with Zhang Xiaowei downstairs in their dormitory; could it be related?
After class, Mu Yunze immediately sought out Han Jincheng. He shared his suspicions with her, and Han Jincheng looked equally shocked. "Su Wanqing? How is that possible? She always seems so kind and gentle."
"People can be deceiving," Mu Yunze sighed. "I suspect Su Wanqing might have set up Class Flower out of jealousy."
Han Jincheng's expression grew complicated as she reflected on their interactions with Su Wanqing and Class Flower; there did seem to be something off about it all. But why would she do such a thing? Weren't Lin Shu Yao and she friends?
Mu Yunze shook his head; he didn't understand Su Wanqing's motives either. The facts were clear: she was indeed connected to the Class Flower case. It could be jealousy or some other reason altogether. What mattered most now was uncovering the truth.
The two decided to go to the police station for more information. At the station, they found Su Wanqing sitting in an interrogation room, her face pale and her eyes hollow, as if all life had drained from her.
"What on earth is going on?" Han Jincheng couldn't help but ask, her voice trembling slightly.
Su Wanqing remained silent, her head bowed and not uttering a word.
