Seoul, as night falls.
Neon lights flicker like enchanting eyes, peering into the desires and secrets of this city.
A black sedan weaves through the darkness, finally coming to a stop in front of a luxurious hotel.
Park Bucheng and Xiao Mi step out of the car.
Xiao Mi is dressed in a stunning red evening gown, accentuating her snow-like skin and graceful curves.
She links her arm with Park Bucheng's, resembling a blooming rose, vibrant and alluring.
Park Bucheng, on the other hand, still wears that ill-fitting gangster uniform, paired with a flashy floral shirt that starkly contrasts with the surroundings.
He squints his eyes, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth, as if indifferent to it all.
Inside the hotel conference room, the atmosphere is tense.
On either side of the long negotiation table sit representatives from various factions.
Li Zhenghao occupies the main seat, his scarred face shadowed with gloom.
Other gang leaders are dressed in sharp suits, yet their criminal aura cannot be concealed.
A few chaebol representatives wear expressions of arrogance, as if they are above everyone else.
The arrival of Park Bucheng and Xiao Mi shattered the silence in the conference room.
All eyes turned toward them in unison.
"Well, if it isn't our little brother Park! What's this? Have you hooked up with a rich lady?" a Gang Leader said sarcastically, his tone dripping with mockery.
Park Bucheng flashed a grin, revealing a set of white teeth. "This big brother sure knows how to joke. Sister Xiao Mi is the boss's person; how could I dare to reach for her?"
As he spoke, he subtly tightened his arm around Xiao Mi's waist. She shot him a playful glare but made no move to resist.
Li Zhenghao cleared his throat, signaling for everyone to quiet down.
"I brought you all here today to discuss how to deal with those guys from East District," he said, his voice low and his eyes glinting with coldness.
"Boss Li, we've kept our distance from East District; why do we need to go against them?" one Gang Leader asked, puzzled.
Li Zhenghao let out a cold laugh. "Keep our distance? They’ve taken our territory and cut off our income. Is that keeping our distance?"
"But East District has the Americans backing them; we can't afford to provoke them," another Gang Leader said anxiously.
"Americans?" Park Bucheng feigned surprise. "Why would they get involved in our affairs?"
Li Zhenghao glanced at him, his expression meaningful. " brother Park, you're new here and don't understand the intricacies of this place. Sometimes, knowing too much isn't beneficial for you."
Park Bucheng quickly lowered his head, feigning a submissive demeanor. "Yes, Boss, your reprimand is noted."
Yet, he couldn't help but smirk inwardly. Li Zhenghao, that old fox, was trying to intimidate them with talk of America, hoping they would fall in line.
"Enough with the nonsense," an impatient Chaebol Representative interrupted. "We're here to offer you support."
As he spoke, he pulled out a stack of documents from his briefcase and tossed them onto the table.
"This is our group's latest weaponry; it's more than enough for you to deal with those guys in the East District."
The eyes of the Gang Leaders lit up as they eagerly picked up the documents to peruse.
Park Bucheng leaned in curiously for a glance. The pages were densely filled with names and specifications of various weapons, leaving him dazzled.
"These weapons are the latest developments from America and pack a tremendous punch," the Chaebol Representative said proudly. "With these at your disposal, you can easily take down the East District."
"But what about the price of these weapons..." one Gang Leader hesitated to ask.
"The price is negotiable," the Chaebol Representative waved his hand dismissively. "As long as you can help us with one thing, these weapons will be yours for free."
"What is it?" the Gang Leaders asked in unison.
The Chaebol Representative smiled mysteriously. "It's quite simple; all you need to do is..."
Before he could finish his words, the door to the conference room was suddenly kicked open.
A tall man, accompanied by several men in black, stormed in with an intimidating presence.
“Li Zhenghao, you old fox, how dare you collude with the Chaebol behind our backs!”
The newcomer was Kim Jeong-hwan, the leader of the East District Gang.
His arrival instantly heightened the tension in the room.
“Kim Jeong-hwan, what the hell do you want?” Li Zhenghao shouted, springing to his feet.
“What do I want? Of course, I’m here to teach you a lesson, you traitor!” Kim Jeong-hwan sneered, waving his hand. “Get him!”
A chaotic brawl was about to erupt.
Park Bucheng and Xiao Mi were pushed into a corner.
“ brother Park, protect me,” Xiao Mi said, clutching Park Bucheng’s arm tightly, her voice tinged with fear.
Park Bucheng patted her hand reassuringly. “Don’t be afraid, I’m here.”
His expression hardened as he swiftly dashed into the crowd.
His movements appeared clumsy, yet concealed a hidden intricacy.
"Graceful Wave Steps!"
He glided through the crowd like a nimble ghost, each strike precise and effective.
"Six Meridians Divine Sword!"
Invisible sword qi shot from his fingertips, taking down one enemy after another.
In the blink of an eye, the conference room was filled with fallen bodies.
The subordinates brought by Kim Jeong-hwan were no match for him.
Kim Jeong-hwan's expression changed dramatically, a flicker of fear in his eyes.
He never expected that this seemingly inconspicuous subordinate possessed such formidable strength.
"W-what exactly are you?" he stammered in terror.
Park Bucheng smirked coldly, "Guess."
In a flash, he was already standing before Kim Jeong-hwan.
"You..." Kim Jeong-hwan barely had time to react before Park Bucheng struck him down to the ground with a single palm.
Park Bucheng dusted off his hands and innocently said to Li Zhenghao, "Boss, I'm sorry, I might have hit a bit too hard."
Li Zhenghao looked at the fallen Kim Jeong-hwan, a complex glint flashing in his eyes.
He hadn’t expected Park Bucheng to be this formidable.
" brother Park, when did you learn martial arts?" he asked cautiously.
Park Bucheng grinned widely. "Boss, that's something you shouldn't ask about; some secrets are not meant to be revealed."
As he spoke, he subtly slipped his hand into his pocket and felt a USB drive.
This USB drive contained evidence of the collusion between the chaebols and gangsters that he had just secretly copied.
Tonight's haul was indeed quite substantial.
At that moment, the sound of police sirens grew louder as they approached.
"Oh no, the cops are coming!" a gang leader exclaimed in alarm.
Everyone's faces changed drastically as they scrambled to escape.
Park Bucheng pulled Xiao Mi's hand and rushed out of the conference room with the crowd.
Outside the hotel, police cars flashed their blinding red and blue lights.
Park Bucheng and Xiao Mi blended into the crowd, taking advantage of the chaos to escape the scene.
Watching the police cars drive away, a cold smile crept onto Park Bucheng's lips.
Tonight's performance was truly spectacular.
Not only had he cleared his name, but he had also gained Li Zhenghao's trust and obtained evidence of collusion between the chaebols and gangsters.
Next, it was time for him to strike back.
He narrowed his eyes, a dangerous glint shining in them.
Li Zhenghao, Kim Jeong-hwan, and those chaebols, just wait for my revenge!
This game has only just begun...
The police sirens gradually faded away, and the night once again enveloped the city.
