In the afternoon, Jiang Chen had Lin Rumei send Lin Jingzhu and the others to the airport, while he, Lin Rumei, and Ding Yan headed to Eight Immortals Ridge.
At this moment, a Feng Shui Ritual was taking place at Eight Immortals Ridge, hosted by Gu Yun Nan's eldest disciple. Located in the western suburbs of Hong Kong Island, Eight Immortals Ridge got its name from the eight peaks that were said to have been visited by the Eight Immortals.
The peaks of Eight Immortals Ridge were not very high, with the tallest reaching only seven hundred meters. Lin Rumei parked the car in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, and Jiang Chen got out, looking around.
"Hey, Mr. Jiang, it's strange. It's not even autumn yet, but all the trees at Eight Immortals Ridge are already yellow. Still, they look quite beautiful," Lin Rumei remarked with a smile. The area was predominantly filled with Wutong trees, so even in their yellowing state, they possessed a unique charm.

Earth Spirit Energy was not to be confused with Earthly Fiendish Aura. The former represented the essence of the land, allowing plants and flowers to thrive by absorbing it. If plants absorbed Earth Spirit Energy for an extended period, they could gain intelligence and become spirits of nature. In contrast, Earthly Fiendish Aura was toxic to the land, causing plants to wither and mountains to become barren.
The yellowing vegetation at Eight Immortals Ridge was not due to an invasion of Earthly Fiendish Aura but rather a leakage of Earth Spirit Energy. Generally speaking, without external forces, Earth Spirit Energy from mountains and land would not easily escape.
Jiang Chen expanded his consciousness and scanned Eight Immortals Ridge, quickly realizing that someone had set up a formation there to forcefully expel the Earth Spirit Energy. After being expelled, this energy flowed toward a specific location.
"Let's go take a look," Jiang Chen suggested as he led Lin Rumei and Ding Yan up the steps into Eight Immortals Ridge.
The trees beside the stone path were tall, but most of the vegetation appeared wilted and weak; what once was lush greenery now alternated between green and yellow, lacking vitality.
Upon reaching the mountain peak, they found a considerable number of people gathered there. Most were dressed in Tang suits or Zhongshan suits typical of Feng Shui practitioners. Jiang Chen glanced around and saw that the Earth Spirit Energy was flowing toward a grave.
He approached and looked at the tombstone in front of the grave; it bore three characters: "Artifact Tomb." In front of it stood an elderly man in a Zhongshan suit, his hands clasped behind his back as he gazed solemnly at the Artifact Tomb.
This elderly man was Jia Xingliang, Gu Yun Nan's eldest disciple and Hong Kong Island's foremost Feng Shui master. With immense talent in Feng Shui, Jia Xingliang had taken charge of Hong Kong Island's Feng Shui community during Gu Yun Nan's retirement years. Some even claimed that Jia Xingliang had surpassed his master.
"Strange, what is this Artifact Tomb? I've never heard of it before," Lin Rumei said in confusion.
"As the name suggests, it contains an artifact," Jiang Chen replied with a smile.
"Why bury an artifact here?" Lin Rumei asked, even more puzzled.
"Just wait and see," Jiang Chen said lightly. He wasn't sure what Jia Xingliang intended to do either; all he could do was observe the unfolding events.
"President Jia, let's open the tomb," a Feng Shui master whispered. Jia Xingliang was the President of the Hong Kong Island Feng Shui Association, and most of the Feng Shui masters present were members of the association.
