Jiang Chen watched from the side, shaking his head slightly. With in-laws like this, the bride's family was bound to suffer.
The Bride's Father dared not say much, but Han Baiying's expression darkened to an extreme. Today was supposed to be a joyous occasion, yet someone was causing trouble.
"Mom, which brat dares to cause a scene here? He must be taught a lesson," Liu Toukang, Liu Jiyue's older brother, said angrily as he followed his mother to confront Jiang Chen.

Liu Toukang's mind went blank; he never expected Jiang Chen to appear so suddenly and wasn't prepared for it. Last year in the Golden Triangle, he had witnessed Jiang Chen's prowess and knew he was not someone to be trifled with. Jiang Chen had warned everyone not to get involved with the Golden Triangle again; otherwise, he would come to collect blood.
Now, the Liu Family and the Guo Family were taking advantage of the Lin family's withdrawal to continue their dealings with the Golden Triangle and make a fortune. They had publicly promoted a product called Divine Medicine, claiming it could strengthen the body and boost energy. In reality, it was a new type of minor drug that made people feel invigorated and addictive.
As for strengthening health, that was merely an initial illusion created by taking the drug; over time, one's health would only deteriorate further. Fortunately, it hadn't been long enough for anyone to notice, allowing the Liu Family to rake in substantial profits—up to a hundred billion.
If Jiang Chen were to find out about this, his threat of "collecting blood" likely wouldn't mean literal bloodshed but rather extracting money. It would be best if he remained unaware; otherwise, they might have to pay him a considerable sum. After all, how much money was involved was entirely up to him; failing to satisfy him could mean dire consequences. However, Liu Toukang believed they had been discreet in maintaining their connections with the Golden Triangle—so covert that Jiang Chen surely wouldn't know.
"Liu Shao, you seem to recognize me?" Jiang Chen smiled.
"Uh, Jiang... Mr. Jiang, how could I not recognize you? Last year in the Golden Triangle, you wiped out Kunshan Group; who wouldn’t know you? I feel honored by your presence at the Liu Family today," Liu Toukang quickly replied with an overly polite tone.
"Since Liu Shao knows me well enough, do you know why I'm here?" Jiang Chen asked again.
"Today is my brother's big day, Mr. Jiang; you must be here to congratulate us?" Liu Toukang said nervously, fearing that Jiang Chen would say he came to collect blood from their family.
"That's true; however, I have matters to attend to tomorrow," Jiang Chen said casually.
Upon hearing that Jiang Chen had business tomorrow, Liu Toukang felt uneasy but had no choice but to say, "Then I look forward to your visit tomorrow, Mr. Jiang!"
Seeing Liu Toukang treat Jiang Chen with such respect left everyone else dumbfounded.
"Brother, what on earth is going on? Who is this guy?" Liu Jiyue struggled to comprehend.
"Do not disrespect Mr. Jiang. You all go about your business; I'll personally attend to Mr. Jiang," Liu Toukang said sternly.
Han Baiying wasn't foolish; she had come in furious and ready for confrontation but realized something was amiss when she saw her eldest son behaving this way. She understood her son well enough—if he treated this young man named Jiang Chen with such deference, then he must be someone extraordinary.
