A sudden and urgent sound of the alarm bell disturbed the group that was investigating on the Noah Continent. Sophia's heartbeat noticeably accelerated as she tightly grasped the "Key of the Celestial Realm" staff in her hand, sensing a surge of magical energy.
"That's the emergency alert from the school. Quick, we need to hurry back!" said Lyra, their new homeroom teacher, looking tense.
Lyra instantly took out a magic teleportation scroll and chanted a spell. A shadow enveloped them, and the next second, they appeared in front of the gates of Noah Academy. The tallest building began to collapse, and the surroundings were in ruins.
The school was in chaos, with students and teachers wearing different kinds of wizard robes and armor, clearly having rushed there.
"Finally, you're back. We need to figure out what exactly happened," said Lyra, a fire mage, as she passed by Sophia.
Morris, wearing his distinctive " DarkShadow " mage robe, DarkShadow himself in the crowd and chose to "investigate." He felt an evil aura shrouding the school.
Fio, Lina, and Brit each demonstrated their abilities. Fio wielded his wooden staff, using the power of the earth to help him find some clues. Lina conjured a gust of wind, attempting to blow away the misty evil aura. Brit focused on lightning, illuminating the surrounding area.
"Look over there!" Lyra pointed at a vague figure in the darkness, his eyes still clear in the night.
Lyra waved her hand, and a ball of light flew towards the darkness, instantly illuminating the entire scene. They finally saw clearly that those shadows were actually a group of Dark creatures, each with a different form, but all emitting an extremely evil aura.
"These creatures are unprecedented in the Noah Continent, perhaps related to the ominous changes we have recently observed," said Alex solemnly.
"So, what does this mean?" Sophia tightly grasped her "Key of the Celestial Realm," feeling a hint of unease.
"It means that a new threat has emerged, and we will be an indispensable force in this struggle," Alex's voice revealed determination.
Everyone carries a heavy burden in their hearts, but at the same time, they understand that as the hope for the future, they must face such challenges, no matter how daunting they may be.
As they clean up and eliminate these unwelcome guests, they also search for where these unwelcome guests come from, and begin to search in four different directions.
Sophia and Morris stood in the center of the library, their gaze drawn to the entrance of that otherworldly space as if by a magnetic force. The entrance to the space resembled a twisted, dark vortex, filled with oppression and mystery, as if a giant mouth was roaring, attempting to devour everything.
Sophia's blue eyes sparkled with curiosity and unease. Her inner being fluctuated like a balance, with curiosity driving her to explore the unknown on one side, and unease and fear warning her of the unspeakable dangers that might lurk within.
"This place is like nothing I've ever seen," Sophia murmured, her voice almost swallowed by the oppressive atmosphere of the space.
Morris tightly gripped his "Shadowfang" dagger, a mysterious weapon with a blade that faintly emitted a dark light. This dark light seemed to be responding to the evil force within the dark vortex, like a silent standoff and provocation.
"Indeed. We must be careful," Morris responded, his gaze firm and showing no hint of hesitation.
The two of them decided to go inside.
In the space, it seemed like another world. In the thick darkness, there was only a faint ray of light, illuminating a strangely shaped crystal, inside of which seemed to be sealed some kind of power.
Sophia raised her "Key of the Celestial Realm" staff, emitting a soft light that illuminated the surroundings. Suddenly, a deep voice echoed in their hearts: "It's you, I recognize your presence. It's been a long time."
Morris instantly released the thunder attribute "Spear Sword of the Storm," pointing the sword at that crystal, "Who's there? Come out!"
"Hahaha, young people are always so restless," the voice continued, accompanied by a restless airflow rolling in the space.
Sophia observed and discovered that in this alternate space, in addition to the strange crystal, there are also some ancient magical symbols, as if they were meant to seal something.
"Morris, I think we've found the reason for the school's attack," Sophia said seriously.
"I also think so. There seems to be some kind of sealed evil power here. But the question is, why did it suddenly appear? And how can it communicate with us?"
"Perhaps some external factors have made its seal unstable," Sophia speculated. "It may also be related to the recent unusual phenomena on the Noah Continent."
"Anyway, we must report the situation here to Professor Alex and the other students and teachers. The evil power here is not to be underestimated," Morris said.
Just then, they suddenly felt a strong tremor, and the entire subspace was shaking.
"Looks like we don't have much time," Sophia said with a serious tone, her blue eyes shining with urgency. "This evil force has found a way to break through the seal."
"Interesting theory, little girl," came the response. As the voice faded, the crystal suddenly emitted a dazzling light, illuminating the entire space.
"I want to ask, who are you? Why are you here?" Morris slowly pointed the tip of the "Spear Sword of the Storm" towards the crystal, his lightning attribute magic drawing arcs of electricity around the sword.
"Oh, no need to rush, no need to rush. I am an ancient power sealed here. You can call me Azansos," the voice said elegantly and disdainfully.
"Azansos? Where have I heard that name before..." Sophia couldn't help but ponder, the "Key of the Celestial Realm" staff in her hand emitting a faint glow, seemingly resonating with the energy of Azansos.
"It has appeared in many ancient myths and prophecies, representing destruction and chaos," Morris added.
"Very good, your memory is not bad," Azansos praised. "So, are you willing to make a deal?" Sophia and Morris exchanged a glance, sensing each other's unease.
"What kind of deal?" Sophia asked.
"You help me break the seal here, and I will grant you a power stronger than any magic," was the response.
"This doesn't seem like a fair trade. Do you think we would easily believe in a sealed evil power?" Morris sneered.
"How would we know if we don't try?" Azansos taunted.
Sophia Suddenly looked up at the crystal and said, "How do we know that once you are free, you won't immediately destroy us?"
Azansos Smirked and replied, "You can only trust me, because in the events about to unfold on the Noah Continent, only I can resolve them."
Sophia A sharp pain pierced through her heart, like a needle. She realized this was a dangerous game, but perhaps, it was the key to solving all her problems.
The two of them stood facing each other in silence for a moment.
"This is an extremely dangerous choice," Sophia finally broke the silence.
Morris tightly gripped the "Spear Sword of the Storm," and the arcs of electricity on the blade gradually became more intense. "This is not just a choice; it's a gamble for the future of the entire Noah Continent."
Azansos smiled coldly, "Oh, what does the fate of a continent matter compared to me?"
"It's enough to make us decide to seal you away again," Sophia raised the "Key of the Celestial Realm" high, and the tip of the staff emitted a bright light, forming a stark contrast with Azansos' dark energy.
Morris and Sophia simultaneously released their respective magic, and instantly, the air was filled with a variety of magical energies.
"Let's give it a try, children," Azansos's voice became sharp and impassioned, and the dark energy on his body surged out like a flood, violently colliding with Sophia and Morris's energies.
The result took everyone by surprise, Azansos successfully broke the seal and escaped!
In that instant, the school was hit by a massive earthquake. Rocks flew, the air was filled with sharp rumbling and the sound of the earth cracking, as if the earth itself was weeping.
The ancient murals and statues shook violently, shattering into countless fragments as if the breaking of the seal had caused the building to lose its soul.
The form of Azansos seemed to be composed of chaos and black mist, spinning, spiraling, and finally transforming into a dark tornado, rushing into the sky.
His loud laughter echoed in the wind, as if the darkness itself was mocking everything. "Hahaha, I have finally escaped! Thank you, it is your power that has become the key to unlocking this seal."
Sophia and Morris stood there dumbfounded, their wizard robes billowing in the intense air currents.
Sophia's blue eyes became hollow in shock, while Morris felt a sense of guilt and loss, as if he had made a huge mistake.
