However, life did not give Li Wenbo much time to adjust to his new marriage. An important project at the company encountered problems, leading to constant complaints from clients. The upper management was furious and placed all the blame on Li Wenbo. He was under immense pressure, working late into the night every day, and often returned home with a heavy heart, his responses to Fang Jing Shu's concern feeling somewhat perfunctory.
"Wen Bo, have you been facing any troubles lately?" Fang Jing Shu asked with genuine concern.
"It's nothing, just some minor issues at work," Li Wenbo replied, not wanting to worry her.
"Wen Bo, we are married. You can share anything with me; I can bear it with you," Fang Jing Shu said earnestly.
Looking into Fang Jing Shu's sincere eyes warmed Li Wenbo's heart, yet he still chose not to tell her about the work-related issues. He didn't want her to share in his burdens.
One day in the company break room, Li Wenbo ran into Gao Daqiang, a long-time employee known for his experience and helpful nature. Noticing Li Wenbo's troubled expression, Gao Daqiang asked with concern, "Wen Bo, you seem off lately. Are you facing any challenges?"
After hesitating for a moment, Li Wenbo decided to share the problems he was encountering with the project.
After listening, Gao Daqiang pondered for a moment before saying, "Wen Bo, the key issue here is that the client's needs have not been met. Have you considered that instead of passively responding to their complaints, it might be better to take the initiative and understand their true requirements? This could lead you to the fundamental solution."
Li Wenbo's eyes lit up; he had been so busy dealing with client complaints that he had overlooked understanding their actual needs. Gratefully, he said to Gao Daqiang, "Thank you, Brother Qiang. Your advice is incredibly timely."
"You're welcome; we're all in this for the company," Gao Daqiang replied, patting Li Wenbo on the shoulder. "I believe you can resolve this issue."
With Gao Daqiang's guidance, Li Wenbo restructured the entire project process and personally visited the clients to listen carefully to their opinions and suggestions. He discovered that their complaints were not baseless; they stemmed from certain details of the project not meeting their expectations.
Upon returning to the company, Li Wenbo immediately organized a team meeting to relay the clients' feedback and develop a new solution. Under his leadership, the team collaborated effectively and worked overtime, ultimately resolving the project's issues successfully, much to the clients' satisfaction.
The upper management highly praised Li Wenbo's performance, not only lifting any penalties against him but also rewarding him for his efforts. Finally relieved, Li Wenbo felt as if a heavy stone had been lifted from his heart.
That evening when he returned home, Fang Jing Shu had already prepared dinner. Seeing the relaxed smile on Li Wenbo's face made her realize he must have resolved his work challenges.
"Wen Bo, are you okay now?" Fang Jing Shu asked with concern.
"Everything's fine now; it's all resolved," Li Wenbo replied with a smile. "Thanks to Brother Qiang's guidance."
