After stepping out of that eerie land, Xuan Xiaowei and Bai Cang, guided by the faint moonlight, led a few disciples through a dense forest.
"I've always felt that this situation is far more complicated than it seems," Xuan Xiaowei broke the silence, his voice filled with seriousness.
Bai Cang tightly grasped the silver long sword in his hand and nodded slightly, "I feel the same way. Especially that corpse demon, it's definitely not an ordinary monster."
Xuan Xiaowei bent down to pick up a glowing stone, its surface showing an ever-changing iridescent green color. She handed it to a young disciple, with a motherly smile on her face.
