In the office of the Director of the City S Satellite Administration, the sound of loud snoring could be heard clearly through the door. After a busy morning, the Director finally welcomed the rare opportunity for a midday nap. However, for Yang Meng, her lunch breaks were always interrupted by unexpected events, which made her feel quite annoyed as she stood outside listening to the Director's snores. Yang Meng hesitated, unsure whether she should knock on the door to wake the Director.
Inside the office, the Director lay comfortably in a large blue recliner, hands resting on his ample belly, enjoying the gentle breeze coming in from the window.
However, a faint and somewhat timid knock on the door shattered the atmosphere. The Director initially intended to ignore this minor disturbance, but the knocking fingers were like a playful child, continuously tapping on the calm surface of the water, creating ripples that grew increasingly deafening in the Director's mind.
"Take a break! Come back in the afternoon!" The Director's voice was muffled by phlegm as he impatiently turned over and dismissively replied.
"Director, you must take a look at this. It’s possible we need to contact the military." Outside the door, the secretary's voice sounded as if wrapped in gauze.
"What is so important?"
The words "Contact military" suddenly flooded Director's mind with memories from last year—everything from the meteorite landing to launching the Satellite Beam in coordination with the military to drive away the alien invaders. Could it be happening again? How many years ago was that... It can't be; we already won. I must be overthinking this.
"Come in." After more than ten seconds of silence, Director thought it over and finally allowed Yang Meng to break into his afternoon rest with her lingering resentment. Now, this young person had evened the score with him.
Yang Meng pushed open the door, beads of sweat on her forehead, but she still managed to tidy up her appearance. Judging by her lip movements, Yang Meng was working hard to calm her breathing. She unfolded a tablet, and the information projected into the air: "Director, the United Nations has made urgent contact with countries that possess technology related to the far side of the Moon. All information has been encrypted using the ELGamal algorithm long key. According to the intermediary's account, this is to prevent widespread public panic."
The Director realized the situation was serious, furrowing his brows as he asked, "So that means we have also received this information, right?"
"Yes, our lunar probe station, along with those of Russia, India, and several other countries, has been destroyed. So far, we have not found any evidence that could prove it was caused by natural cosmic forces. The tablet contains the last video recordings sent from our probe station." Yang Meng placed the tablet on the table as if serving a dish, her hands coming together naturally at her abdomen.
The hand of the Director hesitated, revealing a hint of fear. He exchanged a glance with Yang Meng before clicking on the screen.
What had once been a tranquil universe, a black space dotted with a few stars, now exuded an eerie silence that could be felt even through the screen. Until the curved end of the lunar surface appeared, where at the very bottom, a dim blue wave began to ripple outward, revealing an undefined shape of outer space. Then came the shocking scene that left the Director in disbelief: a shadow that the camera failed to fully capture darted out, flashing momentarily while the object rapidly expanded before vanishing from the view of the camera. Finally, the time displayed in the upper left corner froze at 00:51 on October 24, 2058, marking a complete disruption of communication between Earth and the Moon.
"Why are they doing this?" The Director no longer needed any further evidence; he already knew the answer. He was aware of the existence of Lunar Civilization and had previously signed a national confidentiality agreement. The identities of An Xiaotian and Liu Xuan also meant that Yang Meng was already privy to everything. For them, this was no longer a secret. Aside from General Jiang and The Celestial Warriors Alliance, they were among the few Prophets within humanity.
Yang Meng Lips slightly parted, gently shaking his head.
"Hmm? This..." Director sat up and watched the video again. "Aren't they on the moon? How come they've returned from other parts of the universe?"
"Perhaps they are reinforcements from other places..."
Yang Meng This casual guess made the two people instantly wake up as if from a dream.
"Don't scare me!" Director shouted.
Yang Meng lowered his head, staring straight at the crack in the floor: "Director, do you still remember the internal Human controlled by the military?"
On the border highway of City M, a lonely white sedan drives along the road surrounded by green mountains. Below the elevated road, a few scattered houses stand watch over countless journeys across the timeline. No one knows how many lines they have witnessed, not even the sedan that passes by, for it too is immersed in time within this solitary space, where the emotions of life shine brightly.
"Hey, honey, look over there," the woman nudged the man who was driving. He merely glanced and replied, "Yeah, it's beautiful. You can take a picture."
The woman picked up her phone and aimed it at the sunset before her.
However, what she didn't notice was that within the blood-red of the sunset, a meteor-like trajectory pierced the skyline. And in that instant, it had already vanished before she pressed the shutter.
Without any sound, the anti-gravity system was activated, and the entire cabin shell began to shake violently. The material that had disguised the entire body of the Starliner Crew Module was shaken off, and the Star Cabin landed steadily in a distant mountain forest.
As the rising dust slowly settled, the largest Star Cabin door automatically unlocked. In the afternoon light, Dompey floated out slowly from inside, hands behind her back: "All units, confirm your position and immediately head towards my location."
Soon, the rustling sounds from the surrounding woods grew louder as more soldiers from the Moon Internal Human emerged, quickly forming a square formation in front of Dompey.
Dompey counted; there were exactly thirty of them.
"Are you all clear about this mission?" Dompey gently waved his four fingers on his left hand like a sickle, surveying the assault team he had gathered on the battleship.
"Clear!"
"Okay!" Dompey turned around and lowered his head to check his fingers again, moving them a bit. "Let's see what that Xiu Sha has done. I can't believe I have to go pick up Gad! Hmph! Alright, let's go! I hope I don't make the same old mistakes again."
On the way out of the forest, Dompey opened the positioning map given by Emperor Ban Sa and the cloud information records uploaded by Xiu Sha. He flipped through them, taking in the information about several Celestial Warriors. In his view, this was barely enough to grasp the Earth civilization of the cosmic society. Aside from Nars, he couldn't imagine what qualifications the other three Earthlings had to hurt him. In fact, in Dompey's mind, he had already drafted various ways they could die.
"It seems I was overthinking; one person is enough, hum hum..."
M City Military Base Training Ground
"At ease!"
The soldiers put their left foot forward and stood together in a neat and orderly manner. Instructor Zhang paced back and forth, contemplating the next training exercise, or perhaps, a new message that had left him feeling troubled. He didn't want everything that could possibly happen to become a reality, but even if it did, what could he do? As an ordinary person, facing an overwhelmingly unknown and powerful enemy, even a seasoned soldier like himself was nothing more than a tiny particle, simply referred to as "cannon fodder."
Under the curious gaze of the soldiers in formation, Instructor Zhang turned back and walked to the midpoint of his previous path, letting out a heavy sigh. Whenever he thought about these things, the image of that new recruit, An Xiaotian, would always come to mind—holding his hand and gently stroking his back on the Hovercraft, with a face full of confidence. Now, that kid had officially become the captain of the newly established Celestial Warriors Alliance, unanimously supported by Jiao An, Qin Weishan, and Liu Xuan. In terms of age or experience, the first two had every reason to compete with An Xiaotian for this position, but An Xiaotian had always been regarded as the best soldier in everyone's eyes and was recognized as the most inspiring young leader—this was beyond dispute.
Their military base was located in the mountainous forest on the outskirts of City M.
"Alright, take a break," Instructor Zhang unusually lifted the order. This surprised the soldiers in formation, who exchanged puzzled glances, unsure if their instructor was playing some kind of trick again. Instructor Zhang did not say anything further and turned his back. However, just as he turned around, a whistling sound came from the distant horizon. He thought it was Liu Xuan returning and complained to himself, "How many times have I told him to come in through the front door?"
He turned his head towards the sky, but what he saw was something different—a group of things. Instructor Zhang's heart skipped a beat as he squinted and tried to count them.
About thirty Xiao Hei shadows flew in from the distance, seemingly heading straight for the Experimental Building not far away. Instructor Zhang suddenly recalled the urgent call from the Satellite Bureau yesterday:
"We saw about thirty small meteors flying out from the far side of the moon, and there were no warning signs. Please stay alert. Both we and the United Nations believe that they may be making a comeback, so you must be prepared! If nothing unexpected happens, they are definitely coming for the captives."
Instructor Zhang was instantly taken aback and immediately took out his communicator to send an urgent message to Jiao An: "The Moon People are coming! They must be here to rescue someone! Gear up, defense, defense!"
The howling sound in the sky grew closer, and everyone looked up. Dompey had already arrived with the Internal Troops, hovering above them. Dompey's eyes transformed into a shapeless state resembling milk, scanning the entire base before them.
"Don't move!" Dompey said, not even glancing at the human below, pointing to the assault team behind him. "We're just here to take back our things."
Instructor Zhang stood in front of the unarmed human soldiers, trying to remain calm as he asked, "What do you want?"
"I already told you, we're here to take something," Dompey revealed his sharp yellow teeth.
At the same Time, An Xiaotian hurried out of the room and started contacting Jiao An: "What's going on? The figures outside don't look human!"
"They've come again!"
"Ah? Who?"
An Xiaotian was sweating in the palm of his hand.
After a barrage of gunfire, Dompey took down the last guard and swaggered toward the fourth floor with thirty soldiers. That was where Gad was being held.
Dompey floated in the air, hands behind his back, his long beard blowing in the wind. He approached the scanning armored door, glanced at it, and called over a soldier who was dressed differently from the other internal Humans. The soldier pulled out a long needle shaped like a straw from his heavy silicon metal suit and pressed a button on the fingerprint lock on the door; however, the door did not move.
The soldier couldn't believe it and tried again, but it still didn't move. After all, this is the most advanced technology on Earth.
Dompey couldn't stand it anymore, so she stepped forward and snatched the long needle. Just as she did, there came the crisp sound of metal hitting the ground and the hurried footsteps from behind—
"Didn't your childhood teacher teach you to report when entering the room, alien cat ears?"
An Xiaotian raised his arm, and the Electromagnetic Railgun was already loaded the moment it was ejected from his arm. He aimed at Dompey's pointed ears, and the crosshair in the viewport aligned with his forehead. Divine Fist and Nightmare arrived shortly after, standing on either side of Fierce Eagle.
"Such a nuisance, can't even open a door," Dompey dismissed An Xiaotian's words. He discarded the long needle, his eyes glazed over. With a gentle spread of his hands, the tightly shut steel door twisted open as if it were made of paper.
Seeing this scene, Qin Weishan was taken aback. His fist dropped slightly in shock as he exchanged incredulous glances with Jiao An beside him.
"Don't let him in!" An Xiaotian's helmet quickly transformed and closed. Fierce Eagle said as the power of the electromagnetic cannon surged dramatically, a series of crystal beads shot into the ranks of the Internal Human assault team within a second. The battle immediately erupted! Divine Fist took the lead, while Nightmare raised his sniper rifle. With precise firepower and rapid automatic shooting, he cleared a path for Divine Fist's charge.
Divine Fist was indeed a "god-like boxer." Faced with so many gun barrels, he showed no hesitation as he donned his kinetic absorption alloy armor. His fists, the size of coconuts, swept through the enemy ranks with fierce and skillful martial arts, reminiscent of Zhao Zilong charging in and out seven times, forcing the Internal Humans to retreat step by step. The brilliant coordination between Nightmare and Divine Fist—one charging forward while the other provided cover—compelled the Internal Humans to instinctively tighten their formation for self-preservation while covering Dompey as he entered the Top-secret Room.
Fierce Eagle flew directly behind the Internal Humans, with lasers striking his armor with crackling sounds. He drew his battle sword, activated his shield, and knocked down an Internal Human who tried to block him. Fierce Eagle's target was not these soldiers, but there were still Internal Humans standing in his way. He activated his Thruster to charge forward, leaping into the air for a spin, and with a scream, his battle sword plunged deep into the chest of an Internal Troop.
"Next!" Fierce Eagle shouted, throwing the pierced Internal Human towards Divine Fist, who was entangled with four other Internal Humans. Divine Fist caught it, grabbed the man's legs, and executed a 360-degree sweep to clear a path for himself. At this moment, the three had swapped positions with the Internal troops, and now the Celestial Warriors stood in front of the Internal troops, positioned at the center between Dompey and the Internal troops.
" Sister Jiao An, help us take out these bastards!" Divine Fist called out to Nightmare, who then turned and quickly followed Fierce Eagle into the Top-secret Room.
"Always making me clean up your mess," Nightmare shook her head, switching to the Fate Conqueror blade form, raising the blade to meet the charging Internal troops.
At this moment, Dompey had arrived in front of the tempered glass room where Gad was being held.
Seeing Dompey, Gad immediately stood up: "I knew that Emperor Ban Sa wouldn't give up on me."
"Of course not, old friend," Dompey began to cast a spell. "I will free you right now."
"Try moving again!" Fierce Eagle had already flown in, closely followed by Divine Fist. The blade of Fierce Eagle's battle sword opened at his command, and a barrel glowing with molten laser aimed at Dompey.
"Huh?" Dompey finally made eye contact with The Celestial Warriors, a smirk full of disdain on his face. "You think you can threaten me?"
"I’m here to take down scum like you!" Divine Fist could not tolerate such insolence; without hesitation, he charged forward, shouting loudly.
"Stop!" Fierce Eagle reached out to block him, but Divine Fist was too fast. Helpless, Fierce Eagle raised his battle sword and switched it to gun form. With a buzz, a laser shot towards Dompey to cover Divine Fist.
Dompey had remarkable reflexes; although he was quite old, he was still sharp as ever. His hand seemed to be a beam of light, and at the moment the laser was aimed at him, he raised it up, creating a protective barrier that absorbed the laser completely.
At that moment, Divine Fist charged right in front of him and delivered a powerful punch. Dompey extended his other hand, and it felt as if there was a wall between Divine Fist and Dompey. With a loud bang, facing the strongest single force on Earth, even with his mental barrier activated, Dompey was pushed back several steps. Tall as Shatterer Gad, he too had been knocked back by a punch from Divine Fist; the power of Divine Fist was indeed formidable.
"I'll see how many punches you can take!" With that, the other hand lifted, the boxing glove charged to its maximum, and red energy surged brightly. Another punch! It struck the barrier with overwhelming force!
This punch was satisfying for anyone watching. The mental barrier of Dompey surprisingly could not withstand it, and Dompey was sent flying, crashing to the ground and rolling several times!
"Not bad..." This punch made Dompey suddenly take a serious look at the Earthling before him, who was glaring back with fury. It seemed that Earth's civilization was not as weak as he had imagined. He quickly rose, clutching his arm, and objectively assessed, "You've got some strength, young man! But I've faced over a hundred warriors like you."
The Divine Fist drew out the launcher from the glove, and a miniature missile was fired into the air. Dompey extended his hand, spreading his four fingers wide, and a wave-like force penetrated the missile, astonishingly halting it mid-flight. Using his Telekinesis, Dompey rapidly compressed the space around the miniature missile. In an instant, the missile was gradually flattened, and the escaping white smoke struggled with a hissing sound before it finally exploded!
At the moment of the explosion, Dompey retracted his hand, and the flames transformed into a fireball that gradually shrank until it vanished into thin air.
"Have you never seen this before?" Nian Gui Dompey lightly raised his hand, and the Divine Fist was surprisingly lifted up. "Watch closely, primitive man. This is called the Distortion Field."
Then, Dompey waved his hand, and the Divine Fist felt as if it had been thrown by a hand, shattering the nearby glass and falling from the fourth floor!
"Weishan!" Fierce Eagle shuddered all over, witnessing his brother being thrown out of the window like that!
