In February, Lin'an is in full bloom with apricot blossoms, living up to its reputation as the second capital. I stood swaying at the center of Lin'an City, under the platform for releasing sky lanterns. As the lanterns were lit and flew off the ground, I suddenly looked up and saw a gentleman standing opposite me, surrounded by a group of children. Dressed in a crimson robe and wearing a lotus flower crown, it was clear that he was a wealthy man. 0

I pushed through the crowd to get to his side, where the children were making a racket. I stumbled and ended up in front of him, where a group of children clapped and laughed, saying, "Here comes another girl deliberately bumping into Master." 0

I felt embarrassed, but then a hand reached out to me. As I looked up, I saw his deep, watery eyes. sky lanterns were flying into the sky one after another. He smiled slightly and said, "My student is mischievous. I hope the young lady can forgive us." 0

My heart skipped a beat, he was smiling, but his eyes were empty, with a vacant expression like a lifeless doll. 0

I chuckled and stood up, squeezing next to him and tugging at his sleeve, saying, "I dare to ask, would the gentleman take me to visit the Lin'an The Flower Festival?" 0

His eyes lit up for a moment, as if a spark had ignited within them, and then he nodded slowly, saying, "Okay." 0

I had a great time that night. He hurriedly took me to see the lanterns and even bought me new clothes. I held onto his sleeve and watched him pick out silk flowers from the vendor's stall, teasingly saying, "Sir, you are so generous." 0

He paused for a moment, then turned and pinned a white peach blossom silk flower in my hair. His hand, having pinned the silk flower, touched my head and then stopped at my mask. I bit into a candied hawthorn stick and smiled, saying, "Sir, are you afraid of offending a beauty? It's fine for you to see my true face." 0

As I was about to remove the mask, he stopped me with a somber expression, saying, "No need." 0

Then he muttered in a daze, "I must have been overthinking. How could she possibly come back." 0

I waved my hand in front of him and chuckled, "Sir, could it be that you mistook me for someone else?" 0

He looked at me and asked, "Miss, when did you arrive in Lin'an?" 0

"Today." 0

"When will you leave Lin'an?" 0

"Tomorrow." 0

"Since that's the case, miss, do you have time to listen to me ramble on with a story?" 0

As we walked to the side of the boat, I looked at the candied haws in my hand and the new clothes on my body, and thought about the time before the boat would depart. I said, "Go ahead, I'm listening." 0

The cool breeze blows, causing peach blossoms to fall and cover his clothes. He sits on a stone bench, chin in hand, lost in thought. When he looks up, he smiles slightly, as if infused with new life. 0

"The story I want to tell is about the girl I love. Her name is Hua Anan, born in Lin'an City. She met me when she was thirteen, and I have been waiting for her to reach eighteen so I could marry her. But she didn't live to be eighteen. At seventeen, a white feathered arrow pierced her heart. Though it didn't kill her, she couldn't hold on. She died in my arms, and I personally buried her in Lin'an City. She died without leaving any clues about the bandits who killed her, and I have no way to seek revenge for her." 0

The morning light is faint, and the sun has just peeked out. 0

I slapped his shoulder boldly and said, "No need to blame yourself. The past is the past, and there's no use regretting it. Even though the gentleman's obsession is gone, at least there's a result. Unlike me, I've been wanting to find someone, but now I don't even have any news about him." 0

"What kind of person is the young lady looking for?" 0

"Oh, I don't remember what he looks like, I just know I call him Xiao Tau." 0

The man in front of me shuddered all over, suddenly looked up with dilated pupils, and tremblingly took off my mask. 0

March Lin'an, the fluttering sleeves and the meeting of faces, the small boat gently lifting the water, the warm sun slowly rising. 0

He whispered, "Huanhuan, are you back?" 0
