As night fell, I stood on the terrace of the Imperial Court Building, gazing at the gradually rising full moon. 0

"Are you scared?" came the deep voice of Luke Dunphy from behind me. 0

"What do you want to see?" I turned around, sneering, "Do you want to see me transform into a wolf?" 0

He leisurely rolled up the sleeves of his shirt. "I want to see if you really look just like that White Wolf in the painting." 0

Moonlight illuminated his perfect profile, accentuating the depth of his eyes. In that moment, he appeared both dangerous and alluring. 0

Suddenly, a wave of intense pain surged through me. I curled up on the ground as my nails began to elongate. 0

This time, the reaction was stronger than ever before. "Give me... the medicine..." 0

Luke Dunphy crouched down, his long fingers lifting my chin. "No." 0

"Are you insane?!" I struggled to escape, but he pinned me against the railing. 0

His voice was enticing. "Show me your transformation." 0

"You..." The pain made it impossible for me to form complete sentences; I could only bite down hard on my lip. 0

"Stubborn." His fingers brushed over my torn lip. "You've always been like this." 0

I froze. "What did you say?" 0

He didn’t answer; instead, he brought a small vial to my lips. "Drink this." 0

"What is it...?" 0

"It's much better than Larry Fower's medicine." His voice grew serious. "From now on, you will only use mine." 0

I struggled to push him away, but he held me tightly. The liquid dripped from the corner of my mouth, and to my shock, he leaned down and licked away that drop of medicine. 0

"Luke Dunphy!" My face instantly flushed with heat. 0

He chuckled softly and whispered in my ear, "Sweet." 0
This man was definitely doing it on purpose! 0
Just as I was about to scold him, I noticed his expression suddenly change as he shielded me behind him. "Who?" 0
From the shadows of the terrace, a figure stepped forward. 0
"I never expected," Lynette Scavo said, shaking the camera in her hand, 0
"the president of the Wealthy Gala would be colluding with a wolf." 0
A chill ran through me. 0
It was over. 0
"What do you want?" Luke Dunphy's tone was icy. 0
"Very simple," she replied with a seductive smile, "hand her over to me." 0
"Dream on." 0
"Don't think I don't know," Lynette Scavo sneered, 0
"You’ve been searching for her all these years just for the pure Pure Blood Wolf Gene in her. Since that's the case, why not cooperate..." 0
Before she could finish her sentence, Luke Dunphy had already picked me up horizontally. "Shut up." 0
Lynette Scavo's expression changed. "You..." 0
"If I hear you threaten her again," his voice was as cold as ice, 0
"I'll make sure your entire the Lu disappears from the business world." 0
With that, he turned and walked away with me in his arms. 0
I leaned against his chest, listening to the strong rhythm of his heartbeat, suddenly at a loss for words. 0
What was this man really thinking? 0
In the elevator, he looked down at me. "Does it still hurt?" 0
I shook my head. 0
The heat had faded away, replaced by an inexplicable sense of security. 0

"From now on, on nights of the full moon," he placed me on the sofa, his voice low and steady, "you must stay by my side." 0

"Why should I..." 0

"Simply because," he leaned in, nearly touching my nose with his, "My Blood can also suppress your Wolf Nature." 0

I stared at him in shock. How could this be possible? Unless... 0

He unbuttoned his shirt collar, revealing a delicate collarbone. In the moonlight, there was a faint bite mark. 0

"Fifteen Years Ago," a dark glimmer passed through his eyes, "that was your doing." 0

I froze. So he... knew my identity. 0

"So," the corner of his lips curled into a meaningful smile, "This Time, it's my turn to mark you." 0

This was it; this man truly had ulterior motives! 0

And worse still, a soft sound came from outside the door. I saw Larry Fower standing there, the bottle of medicine in his hand shattered on the floor. 0
