"Listen up, everyone! This grain is ours today! Anyone who dares to interfere will face the consequences!" A rough, thunderous roar shattered the tranquility of the village. 0

As Fu Xingchen stepped into the village, he was met with a chaotic scene: a group of fierce bandits, armed with sharp blades, had surrounded the terrified villagers. Several bags of grain lay on the ground, hard-earned rations that the villagers had saved during this time of famine. The faces of the people were filled with fear, and though they were angry, they dared not speak out. A few elderly individuals knelt on the ground, pleading desperately, their voices trembling with hopelessness. 0

A surge of anger flared up within Fu Xingchen. Without a second thought, he shouted, "Stop! How dare you act so recklessly in broad daylight!" 0

The bandits paused in surprise, but upon realizing that Fu Xingchen was alone, they erupted into laughter. One burly thug sneered, "Where did this fool come from to disrupt our business? Brothers, show this kid what happens when he meddles!" 0

Without hesitation, Fu Xingchen drew his sword in a swift motion. The blade glinted coldly as several bandits at the front screamed and clutched their wounded arms, blood seeping through their fingers. 0

"Not bad!" The leader of the bandits squinted his eyes and waved his hand. "All of you, get him!" 0

In an instant, the bandits charged from all directions. Fu Xingchen took a deep breath, lightly tapping his toes against the ground. His sword moved like a swift white serpent, blocking and stabbing with precision. Each swing of his blade created a fierce wind that made it impossible for anyone to get close. 0

Within moments, the bandits lay sprawled on the ground, writhing in pain and begging for mercy. Fu Xingchen sheathed his sword and coldly surveyed them. "Get lost! If I catch you causing trouble again, I won't be so lenient!" 0

As the bandits crawled away in defeat, the villagers gathered around him. "Thank you for saving us!" an elderly man with graying hair said shakily. 0

Fu Xingchen quickly supported the old man and replied, "No need to thank me; it's what I should do." He looked at the gaunt faces of the villagers and felt a pang of sorrow in his heart. He knew that while he had managed to help save this grain today, such suffering was a daily occurrence in countless places during these chaotic times filled with war and rampant banditry. 0

Fu Xingchen himself was no stranger to hardship. Born into a poor family and orphaned at a young age, he had struggled to survive under the care of his elderly grandmother. Just when he thought life might improve slightly, the merciless famine took her life as well. Now he wandered alone in this tumultuous world. 0

From a young age, Fu Xingchen had shown remarkable talent and interest in martial arts. In those difficult days without a master to guide him, he relied solely on his determination to practice tirelessly every day until he developed extraordinary skills. His swordsmanship was as fast as lightning, with techniques so varied that they left opponents unable to defend themselves. 0

After driving away the bandits, Fu Xingchen stayed in the village for a few days, helping the villagers repair their homes and search for water sources. Yet, deep down, he understood that his efforts were merely a drop in the bucket. 0

One day, Fu Xingchen bid farewell to the villagers and continued on his journey. As he walked, he observed the devastation around him. The villages were in ruins, the fields lay barren, and the people were barely clothed and starving. At every place he stopped, he did his best to help those who were suffering, but it seemed that the hardships of this chaotic world would never end. 0

On one occasion, Fu Xingchen passed through a small town. The town was eerily quiet, with most of the buildings on the verge of collapse. In the center square, he saw a group of children gathered around a pile of garbage, searching for something edible. The children were so thin that their bones protruded from their skin, their eyes reflecting hunger and despair. 0

Fu Xingchen felt a pang in his heart and hurried over, pulling out the little food he had left and sharing it with the children. "Children, eat this. Don't go hungry," he said softly. 0

A little boy looked up at Fu Xingchen with tears in his eyes and asked in a trembling voice, "Big brother, when will life get better? People are dying of hunger every day, and we don’t know how much longer we can survive." 0

Fu Xingchen knelt down and gently patted the boy's head, saying firmly, "Child, don’t be afraid. As long as we don’t give up, there will always be peaceful days ahead." 0

After leaving the town, Fu Xingchen's mood grew heavier. He knew that with just his own strength, he could not change this cruel world. To truly save the people, he needed to think of a long-term solution. 0

That night, Fu Xingchen climbed to the top of a mountain alone and gazed at the starry sky, lost in thought. "What must happen for this world to find peace?" he murmured to himself. 0

Suddenly, a rapid sound of hooves echoed from afar. Fu Xingchen stood up alertly, gripping the hilt of his sword as he looked toward the source of the noise. He saw a group of soldiers galloping toward him… 0
