Lin Mo and Su Yuqing stood in the peculiar space of the Time Eye, facing off against the mysterious figure. The figure was surrounded by a strange black mist, flickering with strands of Purple Lightning, showcasing his formidable and malevolent power.
"Do you really think you can take the Time Eye?" Lin Mo said, unflinching as he stared at the mysterious figure, his eyes filled with determination. He positioned Su Yuqing behind him, and the Curse Pattern on his forehead glowed brightly, symbolizing his struggle against the dark forces and his resolve to protect the world.
The mysterious figure sneered, "Ignorant insects! Do you think you can stop me? I have plotted for a thousand years and laid countless traps; you cannot easily destroy them." With that, he violently waved his hands, and the black mist surged like a tidal wave towards Lin Mo and Su Yuqing, mixed with sharp purple lightning that seemed to tear the very fabric of space apart.
Lin Mo focused his mind, channeling his Time-Space Power. A layer of Azure Light Shield appeared around him, shimmering gently with each breath he took as it defended against the figure's assault. Su Yuqing was not idle either; leveraging her knowledge of ancient civilizations and Mysterious Symbols, she quickly drew mysterious runes on the ground. The runes glowed with a golden light, resonating with Lin Mo's shield and enhancing their defensive capabilities.
Seeing this, the mysterious figure's eyes flashed with surprise, quickly replaced by anger. He intensified his attack; the black mist thickened, and purple lightning fell like rain. Lin Mo's shield shook under the onslaught, developing fine cracks, while the runes on the ground began to dim.
"Lin Mo, we can't just defend; we need to find a way to counterattack!" Su Yuqing shouted, her voice echoing in the strange space.
Lin Mo nodded; he knew she was right. Closing his eyes, he recalled his previous encounters with dark forces and his insights into Time-Space Power during their explorations. Suddenly, an idea struck him.
Taking a deep breath, Lin Mo gathered his Time-Space Power between his hands. His palms radiated a brilliant White Light that seemed to contain endless mysteries of time and space. He opened his eyes wide and thrust his hands forward, unleashing a massive Time-Space Blade towards the mysterious figure.
As the Time-Space Blade sliced through space, it neatly cleaved apart the black mist and purple lightning. The mysterious figure's expression changed drastically; he had not anticipated such a powerful counterattack from Lin Mo. Hastily gathering his strength, he formed a black barrier in front of him in an attempt to block the Time-Space Blade.
The collision between the Time-Space Blade and the Black Barrier produced a deafening explosion. A powerful Energy Fluctuation swept through the entire space; stars flickered wildly as flowing light became chaotic. The mysterious figure's Black Barrier gradually shattered under the assault of the Time-Space Blade, forcing him to retreat repeatedly.
"Damn it!" The mysterious figure gritted his teeth as madness flickered in his eyes. Suddenly, he pulled out a black crystal ball from within his robes. The surface of the crystal ball was etched with Mysterious Symbols and emitted a chilling aura.
He raised the crystal ball high and began chanting incantations. The crystal ball started absorbing surrounding Time-Space Power, growing larger as the black mist thickened around him, enveloping him completely. From within the mist came the figure's maniacal laughter: "Do you think you can stop me? Today, I will show you true power!"
As the crystal ball absorbed more power, time and space around them began to warp and distort. Lin Mo and Su Yuqing felt an overwhelming pull as if they were being drawn into an endless abyss of darkness. Lin Mo gripped Su Yuqing's hand tightly; he knew that the mysterious figure was using the power of the crystal ball to attempt to break the seal of the Time Eye and seize control over all time and space.
"We can't let him succeed!" Lin Mo shouted as he launched another attack. He continuously unleashed Time-Space Blades toward where the mysterious figure stood. However, each blade was easily devoured upon contact with the black mist.
Su Yuqing watched anxiously as events unfolded before her. Suddenly recalling something she had read in ancient texts about the Time Eye—its powers were not solely destructive but also healing and balancing—she felt a spark of inspiration. Perhaps they could use this aspect of the Time Eye to combat the mysterious figure.
She shared her thoughts with Lin Mo. Though hesitant at first, he realized there was no better option at that moment and chose to trust her. Concentrating deeply, Su Yuqing began to channel the power of the Time Eye. She moved her hands gracefully while reciting an ancient incantation; light began to converge around her.
The Time Eye responded to Su Yuqing's call; its glow intensified dramatically. A gentle White Light shot forth from it, contrasting sharply against the black mist and purple lightning surrounding them. Where this White Light passed through, distortions in time began to mend, causing black mist to dissipate.
The mysterious figure sensed danger; he frantically attacked at the White Light but could not halt its advance. Eventually, it enveloped him completely; he let out a cry of agony as cracks began to form on the black crystal ball.
"No! This can't be happening!" he screamed in despair.
Underneath the purifying effect of White Light, his power gradually waned until both black mist and purple lightning vanished entirely. Without support, he collapsed onto the ground as his black crystal ball shattered into countless fragments.
Lin Mo and Su Yuqing breathed sighs of relief; they thought their battle had come to an end. However, just then, the Time Eye suddenly trembled violently as its light became blindingly bright. The space surrounding it began to collapse as countless Time-Space Rifts appeared, unleashing tremendous forces that plunged everything into chaos.
It turned out that although they had thwarted the mysterious figure’s attack, his damage to the Time Eye triggered a chain reaction in time and space. If they did not repair it promptly, all of time would descend into endless chaos—countless worlds would face destruction.
"What do we do now? Lin Mo!" Su Yuqing exclaimed in terror as she gazed at the unfolding scene before them; her voice carried a hint of desperation.
Lin Mo gazed at the Time Eye, understanding that this might be his last chance to break the curse and save the world. He recalled his journey, the moments spent with Su Yuqing, and the mission he bore.
"Su Yuqing, I think I know what I need to do," Lin Mo said, looking at her with warmth and determination in his eyes.
He slowly approached the Time Eye, fully exposing himself to the chaotic currents of time and space. The glow of the Curse Pattern on his forehead reached its peak, resonating with the light of the Time Eye. He began to channel the power of the Time Eye, merging it with his own body.
"Lin Mo, what are you doing? Come back! This is dangerous!" Su Yuqing shouted, trying to rush forward to grab him, but she was blocked by the Time-Space Turbulence.
Lin Mo turned to look at Su Yuqing and smiled. "Su Yuqing, this is my mission. Only by merging with the Time Eye can I repair it, lift the curse, and save the world. Promise me you'll live well."
With that, Lin Mo no longer hesitated and devoted himself entirely to merging with the Time Eye. His body gradually became transparent, blending into the Time Eye. During this fusion process, Lin Mo felt endless pain, yet he gritted his teeth and persevered.
As Lin Mo merged with the Time Eye, its vibrations gradually ceased, and its light softened. The Time-Space Rift began to heal slowly, and the space returned to calm.
Su Yuqing watched this unfold with tears streaming down her face; she knew Lin Mo was sacrificing himself to save the world. When the last of the Time-Space Rift healed, Lin Mo's figure completely vanished into the Time Eye.
"Lin Mo..." Su Yuqing cried out his name in anguish, her voice echoing in that strange space.
The world returned to peace as the Time Eye radiated a serene glow once more. Alone, Su Yuqing stepped out of that space, her heart filled with sorrow but also carrying Lin Mo's hope and mission.
Back in the real world, Su Yuqing continued Lin Mo's unfinished work. Using her knowledge and strength, she protected the balance of time and space to prevent similar crises from occurring again. Through her efforts, life gradually returned to the world, and people lived peaceful lives.
Lin Mo's story became a legend passed down through generations. People recounted his brave deeds in sacrificing himself for the sake of saving the world. Su Yuqing knew that although Lin Mo had departed, his spirit would forever live on in people's hearts—and in her heart as well.
