After successfully resolving the Time Rift crisis, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing showed no signs of complacency and devoted themselves wholeheartedly to the in-depth study of the mysteries of time and space. As their research progressed, they discovered that ancient civilizations held more clues about Time-Space Power, scattered across ancient ruins worldwide, interconnected as if guiding them toward a grander secret.
To pursue these clues, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing embarked on a global journey. Their first stop was a mysterious rainforest in South America, rumored to have once been home to a highly advanced ancient civilization, leaving behind relics imbued with unique Time-Space Imprints.
As they ventured deeper into the rainforest, the hot and humid environment made progress difficult. Dense vegetation and hidden swamps constantly threatened their safety. However, these challenges did not deter them. After several days of arduous trekking, they finally located the ancient ruins hidden deep within the rainforest.
The ruins were covered by massive stones and vines, with the passage of time leaving deep imprints on these structures. Lin Mo and Su Yuqing cautiously entered the ruins, where walls were etched with strange patterns and symbols. These symbols bore similarities to the Time-Space Symbols they had encountered before but also exhibited unique styles.
While they focused on studying these symbols, a low rumbling roar suddenly echoed from deep within the ruins. The sound reverberated through the vast space, sending chills down their spines. Lin Mo and Su Yuqing exchanged glances, sensing each other's alertness; they decided to investigate the source of the sound.
Following a winding passageway, they arrived at a massive Underground Cave. An eerie mist filled the cave, obscuring their view. Lin Mo concentrated and used his Time-Space Power to disperse some of the fog, revealing a gigantic creature within the cave. This creature resembled a dinosaur but had metallic scales that glimmered ominously, its eyes glowing red and exuding an overwhelming sense of pressure.
"What kind of creature is this? It looks dangerous," Su Yuqing whispered.
Lin Mo tightly grasped Su Yuqing's hand and replied, "No matter what it is, we must proceed with caution."
Just as he finished speaking, the creature charged toward them with incredible speed, its massive body creating a whirlwind. Lin Mo quickly shielded Su Yuqing behind him and summoned a protective barrier using his Time-Space Power. The creature collided with the shield, producing a deafening sound as it shook violently, nearly shattering.
Realizing that the creature's strength exceeded their expectations and that mere defense would not suffice, Lin Mo decided to take the offensive. He observed that when the creature attacked, gaps appeared in its neck scales—this seemed to be its weak point.
Seizing the opportunity, Lin Mo swiftly moved beside the creature's neck. He concentrated his Time-Space Power into a sharp blade and thrust it fiercely at the creature's vulnerable spot. The creature let out a pained roar and thrashed wildly, its immense strength sending Lin Mo flying.
Seeing this, Su Yuqing felt anxious. She recalled methods learned during her studies of ancient ruins that utilized environmental forces against enemies. Looking around, she noticed numerous massive Stalactites hanging from the cave ceiling. Focusing her energy, she skillfully manipulated her Time-Space Power to resonate with the surrounding environment.
Under Su Yuqing's control, Stalactites began to fall toward the creature. Struck by them, its movements slowed down significantly. Lin Mo seized this chance to launch another attack, continuously using his Time-Space Power to strike at the creature.
After an intense battle, the creature finally collapsed with a thunderous crash. Lin Mo and Su Yuqing breathed sighs of relief as they approached it and discovered strange symbols etched all over its body—these seemed connected to those found in the ruins.
Just as they prepared to study these symbols closely, the ruins suddenly began to shake violently. Stones fell from above as cracks appeared in the ground. Realizing that their recent battle might have triggered a self-destruct mechanism in the ruins, they hurriedly ran toward the exit. Just as the structure was about to collapse completely, they managed to escape.
Following this adventure, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing gained new insights into these Mysterious Symbols. They returned to the Archaeological Research Institute for in-depth analysis of their findings. During their research process, they discovered that these symbols pointed toward a mysterious location in the Arctic that might hold the key to unraveling time-space secrets.
Without hesitation, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing prepared for their journey to the Arctic. In the icy wilderness there, they faced extreme cold and complex terrain. Yet driven by unwavering faith and tenacity, they searched for that enigmatic place across vast ice fields.
Finally, beneath a massive glacier, they uncovered a hidden entrance adorned with Mysterious Symbols that emitted faint blue light as if recounting ancient tales.
Entering through this entrance led them into an enormous Ice Cave. The walls of this cave shimmered with strange lights that formed images depicting scenes from various times—ancient wars, flourishing civilizations, and mysterious rituals.
Deep within the Ice Cave stood a colossal Ice Coffin. Inside lay a figure whose face bore an uncanny resemblance to Lin Mo’s own but radiated an aura of ancient mystery.
"Lin Mo... this person..." Su Yuqing exclaimed in astonishment.
Lin Mo gazed at the figure in the Ice Coffin; an inexplicable feeling surged within him. Approaching closer revealed that intricate symbols covered its surface—these seemed to protect him while concealing an enormous secret.
As Lin Mo and Su Yuqing prepared to further investigate the Ice Coffin, a sudden burst of intense light erupted from it. The Ice Coffin slowly opened, and a powerful force surged forth, enveloping Lin Mo and Su Yuqing within its grasp.
Under the radiant glow, their consciousness began to fade. When they regained awareness, they found themselves in an unfamiliar time and space. The sky above them was a deep purple, while the ground shimmered in golden hues, and everything around them was imbued with an air of mystery.
"Where are we?" Su Yuqing asked in terror.
Lin Mo surveyed their surroundings and replied, "I don't know either, but I can sense that this place is unlike any time or space we've encountered before. We must tread carefully and find a way back."
At that moment, a mysterious voice echoed in their ears: "Welcome to The Place Where Fates Intertwine. Your destinies will encounter a new turning point here..."
