During the days when Lin Mo and Su Yuqing assisted the local residents in rebuilding their homes, a new wave of turmoil lurked beneath their peaceful lives. One day, a strange light suddenly appeared in the sky, streaking across like a meteor before finally crashing into a valley not far from the Settlement. This unusual phenomenon caught the attention of Lin Mo and Su Yuqing, prompting them to investigate the site of the light's descent.
When they arrived at the valley, they discovered that a peculiar Energy Fluctuation enveloped the area surrounding the impact site. In a massive crater lay a metallic object emitting an eerie glow. The object was irregularly shaped, its surface etched with complex Striations that flickered with a faint light, seemingly conveying some kind of message. As Lin Mo and Su Yuqing cautiously approached it, they found that the energy field surrounding the object had a peculiar interference effect on their Time-Space Power.
Just as they were preparing to examine the object closely, a mysterious visitor suddenly appeared. Cloaked in a white robe, his face obscured by a silver mask, his features remained hidden from view. The arrival of this enigmatic figure caused no disturbance, as if he had materialized directly from the void.
"You should not touch this thing," his voice was deep and hoarse, echoing as if from a distant place.
Lin Mo regarded him warily and asked, "Who are you? Why shouldn't we touch it?"
The mysterious visitor stepped closer, his movements light yet imbued with an invisible authority. "Who I am is not important; what matters is that this object contains immense danger. It comes from a forbidden time and space, sealed within it is a power capable of overturning all temporal order."
Su Yuqing questioned with confusion, "If it is so dangerous, why is it here?"
The visitor paused for a moment before responding slowly, "This is part of a conspiracy. Someone is attempting to break the boundaries of time and space to unleash the power within for their nefarious purposes. And you have unwittingly found yourselves at the center of this storm."
Lin Mo furrowed his brow. "What do you know? Please tell us; we have been striving to protect time and space."
The mysterious visitor looked at Lin Mo as if weighing something. After a while, he spoke again. "I can share some information with you, but you must promise to treat it with caution and do everything in your power to thwart this conspiracy."
Lin Mo and Su Yuqing nodded eagerly.
The visitor continued, "This object is a Time-Space Sealing Device, originally sealed deep within the universe. However, recently, the balance of time and space has been disrupted by a series of events, causing the seal to weaken and allowing it to appear here. In a distant time and space, there exists a Mysterious Organization that has been researching how to unlock this seal. They believe that by harnessing its power, they can become rulers of all time."
Lin Mo's heart raced as he recalled previous encounters with the Mysterious Organization. Could there be a connection between them? He voiced his concerns.
The mysterious visitor nodded slightly. "It is very likely. Perhaps they did not give up after their previous failures but are secretly seeking greater power. The emergence of this Time-Space Sealing Device presents them with an excellent opportunity."
Su Yuqing asked, "What should we do then? How can we re-seal it?"
The visitor pointed to the Striations on the object's surface. "These Striations are an ancient Time-Space Rune; only by finding the corresponding key can you reactivate the seal. This key is hidden in a forgotten time and space filled with dangers—guarded by powerful Guardian Beasts and complex labyrinthine traps."
Lin Mo declared resolutely, "No matter how dangerous it is, we must find that key. We cannot let the Mysterious Organization succeed."
The mysterious visitor regarded Lin Mo with a glimmer of admiration in his eyes. "Your courage is commendable. I can provide you with some hints to help you locate the entrance to that time and space. But the rest of the journey must be undertaken by you."
With that said, he extended his hand and traced an unusual symbol in the air. The symbol shimmered with golden light before transforming into a small vortex of time and space. Through the vortex emerged blurred images—an ancient castle surrounded by mysterious forces.
"This is your clue to that time and space. The entrance lies near your Settlement, concealed within a special Time-Space Fold. When the stars align in a specific formation, the entrance will reveal itself. You must enter during that brief window; otherwise, you will lose your chance forever," warned the mysterious visitor.
Lin Mo and Su Yuqing committed these details to memory as he added another caution: "Once you enter that time and space, proceed with care; every corner may hide deadly dangers. Moreover, time flows differently there compared to outside; you must manage your time wisely or risk being trapped forever."
Grateful for his guidance, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing thanked him profusely. The mysterious visitor nodded slightly before vanishing in an instant, leaving them alone before the enigmatic Time-Space Sealing Device.
Upon returning to the Settlement, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing began preparing for their venture into that perilous time and space. They consulted an elder about ancient Time-Space Runes and temporal travel knowledge; he generously shared everything he knew with them.
In the days leading up to the alignment of the stars, Lin Mo tirelessly practiced to enhance his Time-Space Power. He discovered that after his previous battle with the dark forces, his control over time and space had become more adept. Yet, faced with unknown dangers, he dared not let his guard down. Su Yuqing meticulously studied the clues left by the mysterious visitor, attempting to glean more information about that time and space from the vague images.
Finally, the day of the star alignment arrived. Lin Mo and Su Yuqing arrived at the location indicated by the mysterious visitor, quietly awaiting the appearance of the entrance. As time passed, the stars in the sky gradually arranged themselves into the shape described by the visitor. On the ground, a Time-Space Fold emanating a blue light appeared, its folds expanding until it formed a massive vortex of time and space, exuding a powerful pull.
Taking a deep breath, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing held hands and stepped into the vortex. Within it, they felt intense distortions and tugs of time and space, as if their bodies were being torn apart by countless forces simultaneously. Yet, relying on their unwavering will, they embraced tightly, striving to remain conscious.
When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in an unfamiliar world. The sky was an eerie shade of green, and the ground was a desolate black desert. In the distance stood an ancient castle radiating a mysterious aura, identical to the images shown by the mysterious visitor.
"This is that perilous time and space," Lin Mo said, determination and vigilance evident in his eyes.
They cautiously made their way toward the castle, being careful along the way. Strange creatures occasionally emerged from the desert—some resembling gigantic scorpions shimmering with metallic luster; others like flying snakes with eyes glowing red. Using their Time-Space Power and agile movements, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing repeatedly evaded these creatures' attacks.
As they approached the castle, they encountered their first obstacle: a massive river blocking their path. The water shimmered with an eerie purple hue and emitted a pungent odor. Lin Mo attempted to use his Time-Space Power to construct a bridge across the river's surface, but its force was exceptionally strong, continuously eroding his time-space bridge.
Su Yuqing observed the river closely and noticed some patterns within its flow. She informed Lin Mo that these patterns might be related to the Time-Space Rune they had studied earlier. Following her guidance, Lin Mo adjusted the frequency of his Time-Space Power to resonate with the river's patterns. Miraculously, a series of steps made of time-space energy appeared on the river's surface, leading to the opposite bank.
Successfully crossing the river, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing continued toward the castle. However, as they reached its entrance, a colossal Guardian Beast emerged before them. This Guardian Beast towered like a mountain, covered in black scales with three enormous horns atop its head, each glowing with mysterious light. The Guardian Beast opened its massive jaws and let out a thunderous roar as it charged at them.
Would Lin Mo and Su Yuqing be able to defeat this Guardian Beast and successfully enter the castle to find the Sealing Key? What dangers and challenges awaited them within?
