On a rare dreamless night, Song Bunan felt incredibly refreshed when the alarm rang. Unlike the energy drain from working in dreams, this high-quality sleep could energize him for an entire week. 0

Beside him, Xin Yi had already gotten up and started his morning routine. Song Bunan lay on his side, propping his chin on his hand as he watched Xin Yi bustling about. His movements and expressions resembled those of newlyweds in the throes of romance; even watching his partner brush his teeth seemed immensely charming. 0

In daily life, Xin Yi was often oblivious to the attention of others. After finishing his grooming, he made coffee as per his routine and then began exercising to maintain his physical strength. As he was nearing a hundred push-ups, he instinctively looked up and met Song Bunan's unabashed gaze filled with admiration. 0

The man’s smile stretched from ear to ear, completely absorbed in watching him work out from the edge of the bed. Although Xin Yi had heard Song Bunan express his fondness for his physique before, being stared at so openly still made him feel a bit uneasy. 0

Lost in thought, he momentarily forgot how many push-ups he had done. Just then, he heard Song Bunan's voice counting from above: "107, keep going! Don’t you usually do over two hundred in the mornings?" 0

This wasn’t the first time Song Bunan had watched him like this, and Xin Yi felt a sudden sense of relief as he pushed himself toward two hundred. Little did he know that during those moments when he wasn’t looking up, Song Bunan was capturing numerous photos on his phone and generously sharing them. 0

“Eating so well this early?” The first reply came from the suddenly reappeared Ming You, followed by a meme of someone wiping drool. Ming You was quite close to him, especially after discovering they both liked men; their relationship grew even closer when Ming Oil Tea nged his contact name to "Bunan Sister." 0

He had struggled with it but ultimately failed. “He works out every morning; those muscles are impressive.” Song Bunan adored having a muscular body. 0

“Great! Is there anything cooler? I want more.” Ming You shared the same taste in men but maintained a distant attitude towards male biology for some reason. Their interactions were often just playful banter; whenever faced with a suitable candidate, he would quickly retreat. 0

“How cool do you want it?” Song Bunan asked without hesitation. 0

“Hmm... just three points,” Ming You replied. He had previously shared many photos of muscular men with Song Bunan, who immediately dug through his album and sent over a recent shot of Xin Yi in just his underwear. 0

Ming You quickly responded with a photo of someone with a nosebleed and praised the well-defined physique in the picture, noting how impressive it was that this guy could maintain such a body at nearly fifty. 0

“Nearly fifty?” Song Bunan focused on that detail. Ming You sent back a question mark and explained that this guy was forty-two—if not nearly fifty, then what? At thirty years old, Song Bunan was taken aback by this revelation. 0

He had seen information about Xin Yi before but had never paid much attention to age aside from remembering his birthday. Now reminded by Ming You, he realized that Xin Yi was a whole decade older than him. Putting away his phone, Song Bunan entered a flow state and began contemplating how many years they could potentially live together. 0

If Xin Yi were to unexpectedly die during future missions and they hadn’t registered their relationship or met each other’s families, they would merely be considered broken up. However, if they genuinely started living together, wouldn’t that mean he would be left alone? He couldn’t allow someone he cared about to become just a memory due to an accident. Song Bunan decided it was time to bring up the topic of Xin Yi resigning from work. 0

“You two may not be an old man-young woman pairing, but it’s close enough. X lives happily ever after, sister.” Ming You’s message arrived just in time, making Song Bunan feel as if he were being swept away by small talk. Though their conversations often danced on the edge of inappropriate topics, being the subject made him feel uncomfortable. 0

“We're not at that stage yet. (smiling emoji)” 0

"Stop being so pure, big brother. Are you planning to become a monk just because you don't eat pork and don't watch pigs run?" Urgent King appeared first. 0

"Just confirmed our relationship, how can it be so quick?!" Song Bunan retorted, typing faster than usual, nearly causing his phone screen to smoke. 0

"You promised me back then that you'd be in a relationship for three days before getting intimate." 0

"That was just a fantasy—" someone roared. 0

While driving to the edge of the world with friends on his phone, Song Bunan didn't notice that the fitness enthusiast was already by the bed, watching him send messages. Upon seeing the inappropriate topic, he raised an eyebrow in interest. 0

It was surprising that someone who would blush at a simple kiss could discuss deeper matters so casually with others. As Song Bunan began typing a lengthy explanation of why he wasn't ready yet, Xin Yi reached over, snatched the man's phone away, and pinned him down onto the bed. 0

The sudden intimacy transformed the previously excited person into a stiff statue lying on the bed, unsure of what to do. The warmth from Xin Yi's body after his workout seeped through the pajamas and felt like burning coals against his skin, igniting every cell within him. 0

Xin Yi's hand slowly slipped under Song Bunan's clothing, embracing him in a suggestive manner. Leaning closer, he whispered in a deep voice that he was very willing to have close contact with him, but it would depend on his willingness. 0

As a pure talker, Song Bunan's only knowledge of related physiological matters came from some colorful comics he had been forced to read. The interactions between humans and non-human tentacle creatures served as his improper enlightenment; he had been scared for a long time afterward about anyone touching his neck due to some suffocating actions depicted. 0

Now facing this blatant provocation, he felt a stir of excitement within him. Xin Yi's hand was moving deeper, and he relaxed from his previous stiffness, reaching around to embrace Xin Yi's waist while quietly asking what he needed to do if they were really going to start. 0

"We need to go to the hospital." Xin Yi abruptly got up as if continuing from where he left off, sitting at the edge of the bed and gently stroking Song Bunan's hair with a serious tone. "Xiao Mei mentioned your 'relationship history' when chatting with me. Having zero experience is surprising for many people your age. What couples can do is more complicated than just finding someone casually; for your health in the future, we need to be fully prepared, including theoretical knowledge. This isn't the right place; let's find a more suitable time to try after this matter settles." 0

After spending so much time together, Xin Yi had never spoken this much in one go about their actions. The flood of information left Song Bunan feeling dazed; all he could remember was that it wasn't suitable and they should find another time. 0

Feeling somewhat disgruntled as he adjusted his lifted pajama top, still warm from Xin Yi's touch, he blushed and agreed, receiving a genuine deep kiss in return. 0

The sensation of their lips meeting was entirely different from a light kiss; he could even taste a faint hint of toothpaste spreading in his mouth. Xin Yi's kissing skills were thousands of times better than his own; it didn't take long before victory was claimed. 0

This was far more stimulating than typing on his phone. Rushing into the bathroom like an ostrich trying to bury its head in sand, Song Bunan felt as if his face was about to burst into flames. The scent of Xin Yi lingered on his lips, imprinted in his flesh along the lip lines and refusing to fade away. 0

Recalling Xin Yi's smile after their deep kiss made him want to rush out and scream or crawl around in an empty corner to release the excitement bubbling inside him. But reality did not grant him such freedom; all he had was this small room separated by thin wooden doors that allowed him to twist and turn wildly for a moment without caring about appearances. 0

The cold water splashed on his face, carrying a hint of warmth as it flowed away, allowing Song Bunan to feel a little more alive. Just the thought of cuddling and kissing could make him so excited that he might lose his composure; if they were to engage in serious contact, he feared he might end up in the hospital from sheer exhilaration before they even got started. 0

This wouldn't do. He mentally prepared himself, deciding that he needed to learn all the relevant knowledge during this buffer period so he could fully enjoy the experience later. He would go ask for study materials right away! With a determined shake of his hair, Song Bunan confidently walked out to face Xin Yi. 0

Seeing Song Bunan emerge from the bathroom with a bright smile, Xin Yi couldn't help but laugh. The image of him scrambling off the bed just moments ago felt like a mere illusion. Everything he said was sincere; Song Bunan was different from any bed partner he had ever had before, and he wanted to spend more time with this person. Taking things further in this shabby hospital went against his principles; even if the meal was served right to his lips, it was unacceptable. 0

Handing over the clothes, he asked Song Bunan what it felt like to kiss him earlier. The man's shy smile remained, and he scratched his head while answering that it felt quite nice. With zero experience in relationships, Song Bunan didn't quite grasp the subtleties of conversation; his straightforwardness made Xin Yi's heart race. 0

"Once we leave here, let's live together," Xin Yi proposed, extending his hand in hopes of a response. Song Bunan eagerly shook his hand, bouncing up and down with excitement, his eyes sparkling as he stammered for a moment before saying, "Staying at your place or mine is fine!" 0

As they held hands and stepped outside, they happened to run into the other two next door. Xiao Mei dramatically exclaimed that she must be getting a stye, while Xin Yi watched as Song Bunan sprang forward like a firecracker to argue with her. The two of them, who were about the same height, playfully tugged at each other as they walked away, leaving the other pair behind without a care. 0

Shui Su sighed lightly, commenting that neither of them seemed to be growing up. Xin Yi nodded in agreement, acknowledging that he could see it too. 0

"The soundproofing here is terrible," Shui Su suddenly remarked as they descended the stairs. Xin Yi quickly understood what he meant and replied nonchalantly that it was fine; they were just chatting. 0

"Do you have any thoughts on the investigation on the fourth floor?" The two ahead had reconciled and were eagerly discussing what to eat next. Shui Su handed over a USB drive engraved with the Jiang Family logo. 0

"They must be transferring the contents inside," Xin Yi said as he took the USB drive and shared his thoughts with Shui Su openly. "We might need to leave temporarily and find the right moment to investigate directly here; being hesitant now has already drawn their attention, which complicates things." 0

Shui Su agreed with him quietly, noting that there were only two days left until their exchange program ended. 0
