In the past, when Zhou Feng was still around, Zhou Zishuo always called her "sister-in-law." However, ever since Zhou Feng left, he changed his address to "sister." Dao Wen never asked him about the change; perhaps it was because Zhou Feng was no longer there, making the term "sister-in-law" lose its meaning. 0

Yet in Dao Wen's heart, she loved Zhou Feng. She firmly believed that she had already shared a marital bond with him. Since he was her recognized husband, she felt responsible for his younger brother and sister. 0

Dao Wen poked Zhou Zishuo hard on the forehead, warning him not to be so presumptuous. "I told you I would handle this! It's not your place to show off here! The debt of one million isn't your problem. You started your business out of goodwill to help me with financial pressure, but who would have thought you encountered unreliable partners who took your money and left you with this mess? Don't blame yourself too much, and don't say you're useless. Your future is bright; don't let this small setback tie you down!" 0

Zhou Ting chimed in, "That's right! What my sister said is true. Failing in business is common; becoming successful is rare. We can't let this one million ruin our lives." 0

Zhou Ting continued earnestly, "Sister, I will work hard to pass the bar exam and become a lawyer. In the future, I'll earn money to help Zhou Zishuo and fight for justice for you! We'll protect you!" 0

Dao Wen looked at the youthful and vibrant Zhou Ting. Like the other siblings from the Zhou family, he radiated positivity and energy. Sometimes she couldn't help but feel grateful; even though Zhou Feng had tragically died on the battlefield, at least he had left her with two of the most cherished family members. 0

"Alright, you two," Dao Wen replied. "Don't worry about the money. Boss Zong has already promised to help us out. The rest is between me and him; it will all be resolved." 0

Zhou Zishuo expressed his concern, "Sister, do you think that man likes you? He bought ten thousand worth of drinks in one night and wants to help us pay off our debts. I can't shake the feeling that he has ulterior motives. I'm worried you might get hurt." 0

Dao Wen replied impatiently, "Can you both stop fussing? There’s no one to handle the kitchen work! Hurry back!" 0

With that, Dao Wen turned and entered the store, while Zhou Ting hurried after her. 0

Zhou Zishuo watched Dao Wen's retreating figure and sighed silently, grappling with his own feelings of inadequacy. He hated that he lacked power and influence to provide Dao Wen with a stable home. Just minutes earlier, when Boss Zong stepped in to help with the debts, he couldn't help but feel a surge of competitiveness and anxiety; he was terrified of losing Dao Wen. 0

Meanwhile, Zong Zeyu had dropped Tong Le and Tian Ling off at their residence. The apartment was one he had lent to Tong Le for her solo living arrangement; it had been cleaned thoroughly and was fully furnished. 0

As soon as Tong Le entered the house, she collapsed into a deep sleep, while Tian Ling dozed off on the living room's plush carpet. 0

Zong Zeyu stood in the living room, unsure of what to do next. At that moment, Zong Jin reminded him from the doorway that once they woke up, they would take care of themselves; he couldn't just stand there indefinitely—it was improper. 0

Zong Zeyu turned back deliberately and asked, "What if it were Dao Wen lying here drunk? Would you stay?" 0

Zong Jin paused for a moment at that question. Of course, he immediately had an answer in his mind: even if it wasn't proper, he would choose to stay. 0

With a helpless smile, Zong Jin realized what Zong Zeyu meant—men could be so contradictory. 0

Ultimately, Zong Zeyu left the apartment; after all, there wasn't much he could do by staying there. 0
