In the dead of night, at the Business Club, Hou Yi had dozed off in the car. Sun Hu, after finishing a phone call, hurriedly shook Hou Yi awake. "Brother, it's over. The people inside told me Zong Caishan has come out."
Hou Yi stretched lazily and twisted his neck, adopting a posture ready to settle the score. Initially, he hadn’t planned to deal with Zong Caishan today, but since he had targeted Tong Le, it was the perfect opportunity to flex his muscles and let that old man experience the charm of youth. After all, he loved to tease young women; it was time for him to feel the consequences.
Hou Yi turned around to grab a tool from the car, putting on a hat and a mask. Before getting out, he checked the nearby surveillance cameras one last time; fortunately, they were in a blind spot, leaving no trace behind.
With a group of underlings in tow, Hou Yi headed toward the Business Club. He was aware that there was a police station not far from there, so he didn’t intend to make a scene.
As Zong Caishan and Kong Feng stumbled out of the club’s entrance, other guests were also trickling out. Hou Yi seized Zong Caishan by the collar as if dragging a hefty sack of meat and pulled him across the street.
Kong Feng screamed in fright but it was futile. Sun Hu warned the onlookers who might want to intervene; no one dared step forward, especially since Sun Hu's crew was armed.
Hou Yi shoved Zong Caishan into a car and drove him to a secluded area with no surveillance. Once they stopped, Zong Caishan’s head was covered with a black hood. Sun Hu kicked him out of the car and sent him rolling several times.
"Damn it, you’re fatter than a pig!" Sun Hu complained as he dealt with Zong Caishan. Meanwhile, Hou Yi set up a small stool nearby, sipping on some drinks and munching on seeds while watching Zong Caishan get beaten and listening to his cries.
Hou Yi even played rhythmic music from the car, almost dancing along with it.
Sun Hu delivered several hard kicks to Zong Caishan's groin and warned him, "You like playing with women, huh? I’ll break that little toothpick of yours! Let’s see how you play then!"
During this time, Sun Hu took Zong Caishan's phone from him.
Hou Yi said nothing but gestured to his men to bring the phone into the car and connect it to the computer for data transfer. He made sure to keep quiet so that Zong Caishan wouldn’t recognize him later; though the chances of that happening were slim.
Once the data transfer was complete and Zong Caishan had been sufficiently beaten up, Hou Yi signaled for them to stop. If they continued any longer, someone might really end up dead. Although losing a life wasn’t a big deal in this game for him, he still wanted to keep playing.
Hou Yi left the scene alone.
The police found Zong Caishan the next morning when passersby discovered him lying on the ground with a hood over his head and reported it.
Kong Feng followed the police as they searched for Zong Caishan. When they removed the hood, one of Zong Caishan's eyes was swollen shut while the other was surrounded by bruises.
Zong Caishan wished he could remain unconscious forever because as soon as he opened his eyes, pain surged through him. The pain in his body was nothing compared to what he felt below; it felt like it had been severed—excruciatingly painful!
Zong Caishan cried out for help. "Hospital! Hospital!"
