Wu Youyou chimed in enthusiastically, "Exactly! If we don’t kill them, we’re just letting them continue to harm others! Lan Qingqing was just lucky this time; otherwise, she should have been arrested too! Those drug dealers deserve to die! They should be executed immediately!"
Hou Yi smiled slightly. "Don’t worry; those people aren’t far from execution."
Tong Le raised her head and looked at Hou Yi curiously. "I find it hard to believe that your worldview is a bit skewed. You clearly know those people are engaging in illegal activities, yet you act as if it doesn’t concern you at all. Don’t you understand that it’s better not to get involved in things that don’t concern me? When Wu Youyou came looking for me back then, I clearly refused."
Wu Youyou nodded. "Yes, he knows everything but refuses to help me."
Suddenly, Tong Le reached out and pushed Hou Yi's plate aside, scolding him, "Stop eating! This is complicity by silence! Don’t think that just because you didn’t participate directly means you bear no responsibility. Do you know how many people have been harmed by drugs during this time?"
Hou Yi felt no guilt at all. "Am I forcing those people to use drugs? Can we be reasonable here? I haven’t done anything from start to finish."

Tong Le was determined not to let Hou Yi continue eating. Hou Yi immediately surrendered and admitted his fault. "Alright, alright! I get it! I’ll change my ways! From now on, I promise not to remain silent about what I know; is that okay?"
Tong Le pushed the plate back in front of Hou Yi.
Hou Yi asked, "So what’s your next plan? Since you've chosen to help Lan Qingqing out of her predicament, that means you're opposing Hua Rongxiao directly. Are we going to fight this openly?"
Tong Le responded firmly, "Yes! No matter if the enemy is in the light or in the dark, I will stand in the open and fight her openly."
Hou Yi replied cheerfully, "Then count me in; I want to join the battle."
Tong Le asked him, "Do you have a grudge against Hua Rongxiao?"
