A smile spread across his father's face.
His mother watched him silently.
I also looked at my father in silence.
Satisfied, he left.
My mother and I entered the hospital.
As soon as we stepped into the ward, we heard my grandmother shouting curses with great vigor.

"Try sending me back home if you dare!"

My grandmother was cursing loudly.
My mother went in to handle her discharge paperwork.
The nurse seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.
During these few days of hospitalization, my grandmother had made life difficult for the doctors and nurses.
She would complain about the nurses' care one moment and then criticize the doctors' skills the next.
To make matters worse, she liked to go on rants in the middle of the night.
This made it impossible for the doctors and nurses to get any rest.
The nurses couldn't help but grumble, "This family is really strange!"
But my mother didn't care what they said.
She completed the discharge procedures and took me away.
Grandma continued to scold and complain.
Mom looked at Grandma coldly and said, "Mom, if you keep yelling at me, I'm leaving."
"Fine, stay here by yourself!"

Mom helped her out the door.
Grandma struggled, unwilling to go.
Mom called the doctor directly, asking them to come help.
The doctor hurried over and forcibly took Grandma away.
As Mom supported Grandma, she wiped her tears in front of the doctor, saying, "My husband is worried about me and doesn't want me to be burdened, so he specifically asked me to bring Mom back."

The doctor nodded sympathetically.
Grandma glared in anger.
Once home, Grandma tried to boss everyone around like before.
Mom simply locked her in a room, leaving her to fend for herself.

Grandma was so angry that she was jumping up and down.
Mom completely ignored her.
By midnight, Grandma wanted to sleep.
Mom and I deliberately banged on a metal basin in the room.
The clanging noise echoed throughout the house.
Grandma cursed furiously.
Mom remained unfazed.
This was how Grandma used to treat Mom!
Now, Mom was simply giving her a taste of her own medicine!
Three days later, Grandma finally couldn’t take it anymore.
She tried to run outside but was scared unconscious by the neighbor's Big Wolf Dog.
Mom was outside, crying her heart out.
“Mom, I’m doing this for safety!”
“We’re the only ones left in this house!”
“How can I not have a dog?”
The neighbors nodded in agreement.
When Grandma woke up, she had suffered a stroke.
She lost her ability to speak and lay paralyzed in bed.
Mom cried as she said, “Mom, I can’t use your money to take care of you!”
“You need to save that money for your grandson’s medical treatment!”
"I have to support you with my own money!"
"Just tell me, where is Chu Yin's salary card?"
Grandma was almost driven mad!
But she couldn't say a word, only glaring in silence.
Mom cried out, "Mom, I know you don't want to tell me."
