I packed all of Zhou Peiyao's documents into my bag when a sudden thought struck me. 0

"Zheng Xin! Where's my admission letter?!" 0

"What admission letter?" Zheng Xin looked confused. 0

"The one from when I got accepted to Kyoto University!" I exclaimed. "Without it, how am I supposed to go back to school?!" 0

Zheng Xin paused for a moment. "Don't panic. Have you checked to see if you left it somewhere?" 0

"I've looked everywhere! I just can't find it!" I replied. "It was definitely here before! How could it just disappear?!" 0

Zheng Xin pondered for a moment. "Could it have gotten lost during the last move?" 0

I considered that possibility. "Maybe, but it's really important! How can I prove I'm Zhou Peiyao without it?!" 0

Zheng Xin frowned. "Let's not rush. We can keep looking." 0

However, we searched the entire place and still couldn't find that admission letter. 0

Then Zheng Xin glanced at the clock. "Alright, stop searching. The flight is about to take off; we need to leave." 0

"But..." I hesitated. 0

That admission letter was truly important to me. 0

Zheng Xin said impatiently, "Enough with the 'buts'! It's just a piece of paper! It won't stop you from going to school!" 0

"You don't understand!" I snapped, feeling anxious. "It's crucial evidence proving I'm Zhou Peiyao! 0

What if someone questions my identity later?!" 0

"It won't happen," Zheng Xin reassured me. "Don't forget, you're Wang Chen now, not Zhou Peiyao." 0

"That doesn't matter!" I insisted. "I have to find that admission letter! If not, I'm not leaving!" 0

Zheng Xin was angry. "Are you going or not?! If you're not, then just stay here by yourself!" 0

With that, he turned to leave. 0

I quickly grabbed his arm. "Wait! Can't I just go with you?!" 0

In truth, I was terrified of being left alone in this city. 0

I knew that as soon as I slipped up, someone would realize I wasn't Zhou Peiyao. 0

At that point, I wouldn't just lose the chance to continue my studies; I might even lose my life! 0

Thinking of this, I hurriedly picked up my bag and followed Zheng Xin out the door. 0

In the taxi, I asked Zheng Xin, "Should we at least let Zhou Peiyao's parents know we're leaving?" 0

Zheng Xin scoffed. "Why bother? They don't care about your well-being." 0

I thought for a moment. "You're right." 0

Ever since I heard their attitude towards me last time, I had completely lost hope in them. 0

I even started to regret why I had given them so much money in the first place. 0

Had I known they were so heartless, I should have let them fend for themselves! 0

With that thought, I sighed and looked out the window. 0

Suddenly, I noticed a police car by the roadside that looked familiar. 0

Wasn't that Chen Zhiyuan's car? 0

What was he doing here? 0

Was he following me? 0

Feeling a wave of anxiety wash over me, I quickly pulled my head back. 0

At that moment, Zheng Xin asked, "What's wrong with you?" 0

I replied, "I think I saw Chen Zhiyuan's car. Is he following me?!" 0

Zheng Xin glanced out the window and said, "Don't scare yourself. How could a police officer possibly be following you?!" 0

I thought for a moment and conceded, "You're right." 0

Perhaps I was just overthinking it. 0

After all, how could Chen Zhiyuan suspect me? 0

With that thought, I let out a sigh of relief, leaning back in my seat to rest my eyes. 0

Upon arriving at the airport, Zheng Xin handed me my ID and ticket, saying, "Go through security. I'll wait for you inside." 0

"Okay," I nodded, taking the ID and ticket. I put on my mask and hat and headed toward the security checkpoint. 0

In fact, I still had a scar on my face that hadn't healed, so I had to wear a mask and hat whenever I went out. 0
