At the same time, Miya Naoai suddenly woke up and found the bed empty, her son Teruhiko was missing.
In a panic, she rushed out of the room. Just as she stepped into the courtyard, a bloody head rolled slowly towards her.
She screamed and grabbed the head, recognizing it as her son, Teruhiko.
"Who killed my son, Teruhiko!" Miya Naoai shouted in despair.
Muzan stood in the shadows, looking down at everything below, a cold smile playing at the corner of his eyes.
"Mother, what exactly happened?" Wu Gai asked softly as he entered the side hall, the lights flickering around him.
"Muzan, someone has killed your brother!" Miya Naoai hurriedly approached Wu Gai, her voice filled with panic.
Miya Naoai stood in the courtyard, tightly gripping a short sword hidden in her belt. This sword was bestowed upon the Okusafu family by the shrine priest and possessed the power to ward off evil. Her expression was solemn, with a hint of concealed fear and pain in her eyes.
Muzan suddenly felt a sharp pain in his heart, as if pierced by some sharp object. He looked down and saw that the tip of Miya Naoai's sword was pointing directly at his heart.
Miya Naoai raised her head sharply and stared at Muzan, suddenly shouting, "It must be you, it's definitely you! There's no way you just happened to appear here!"
"You scum, how dare you hurt me!" Muzan roared, a cold black shadow flashing in his eyes. This shadow instantly engulfed Miya Naoai, causing her body to vanish into thin air.
"From now on, I will be in control of this family!" Muzan walked to the location where Miya Naoai disappeared, bent down to touch the fresh blood, then tasted it in his mouth, laughing maniacally.
Urazato Palace official and other retainers had hurried to the side hall, standing at the door in astonishment, gazing at everything before them.
"Muzan, it's you! Why would you do this?" Palace official questioned sharply.
The vassals, upon witnessing this terrifying scene, picked up their bows and arrows, waiting only for a command from the Palace official to slay this monster.
"Father, do you truly want to kill me?" Muzan sneered, "I am tired of all this, I no longer want to be bound by this family and you. Let it all end!"
Muzan suddenly released a surge of dark energy from his body, quickly filling the entire hall. The officials were unable to react in time and were engulfed by this energy, turning into a pool of blood.
Urazato, the palace official, stood frozen in shock. He had never imagined that his own son would become such a monster.
Muzan walked up to him and sneered, "Who do you think should be blamed for all of this?"
The Palace official could only shake his head helplessly.
"It's all your and mother's fault. You imprisoned me in this family, abandoned me, and turned me into the monster I am today. Now, you will pay for your actions!"
Muzan released another wave of dark energy from his body, not only destroying the palace lord, but also turning all surviving members of the Okusafu family into blood.
Later, he set a fire, burning everything to ashes, including the dark little room where he had spent eighteen years.
Muzan walked out of the magnificent mansion of Urazato and stood under the night sky, gazing at the stars.
At this moment, a completely new and extremely dangerous Kibutsuji Muzan was born.
He is no longer the weak and sickly youth of the past, but has become a nearly perfect biological being.
However, this kind of perfection cannot fill the emptiness and disappointment in his heart, so he begins to pursue more power by any means necessary.
Due to Muzan's inherent weakness to sunlight, upon learning of this weakness, he began to delve into the prescription left behind by the deceased doctor.
After much effort, he finally discovered a key ingredient in the medicine - a rare plant called "Blue Spider Lily."
Unfortunately, the only person who understood the cultivation and growth of this flower was the doctor who had tragically passed away.
In order to achieve his goal of eternal life, Kibutsuji Muzan left the Okusafu family.
Muzan began to create a large number of his own kind, not only to help him find the "blue spider lily," but also to become his powerful allies in his fight against the seemingly emerging the Ubuyashiki family and Demon Slayer Corps.
This war, aimed at finding mysterious plants and combating powerful enemies, lasted for a thousand years.
"I finally obtained the power I desired. From now on, I am no longer Urazato Muzan, I am Kibutsuji Muzan!"
The eldest son of Miya Naoai, Urazato Shigemitsu narrowly escaped disaster while doing business outside. Upon hearing about the tragedy that befell his family, he immediately changed the family name to " Ubuyashiki " and took the remaining members into hiding to evade Muzan's pursuit.
Strange things happened when Muzan became a demon, the male members of the Ubuyashiki family suffered from a curse, or rather, a punishment from the gods. Newborn male babies in the family would die shortly after birth, putting the Ubuyashiki family at risk of extinction.
At this critical moment, the priests of the "Kaguya Shrine," known for their exorcism abilities, gave the Ubuyashiki family a suggestion: since an evil demon has appeared within the family, it should be destroyed to lift the punishment imposed by the gods.
Therefore, the Ubuyashiki family began a tradition of marrying women with a background in priesthood for generations. This practice indeed solved the problem of infant mortality, but male members of the family still struggled to live past thirty.
Furthermore, Ubuyashiki Kōko started recruiting swordsmen from all over and established the "Demon Slayer Corps" organization, vowing to eliminate Kibutsuji Muzan.
In a corner filled with fragrance and natural light, Fujihara Sachiko is meticulously trimming flowers with utmost concentration, aiming to create a beautiful floral artwork. The melodious sound of a zither drifts from a distance, seemingly blending perfectly with the tranquility of this moment.
However, a sense of unease brewed in her heart. Just a few days ago, news came that the Okusafu family had been wiped out overnight, with the entire mansion engulfed in flames. "Perhaps it was wise for my mother to advise me to leave there in the first place," she sighed to herself. As she muttered, the scissors suddenly lost direction and cut into her palm, causing fresh blood to seep out.
"Ah!" Fujihara Sachiko sucked in a breath of cool air in pain, set down the scissors, and hurried back into the house.
"Quick, someone bring me a bandage!" She ordered the maid. The maid quickly bandaged her wound, skillfully tying a bandage knot with one hand, and then silently exited the room.
Suddenly, a deep, angry voice rang out in the room: "Mother, I miss you so much."
Fujihara Sachiko was startled and turned around abruptly, asking suspiciously, "Who's there? Come out!"
"Why did you abandon me and remarry? Why?" Without a word, Noboru slowly emerged from the dark corner of the room, a hint of a cold smile on his face.
When Fujihara Sachiko saw him, her eyes widened in shock. She thought she was seeing a ghost. Her hand instinctively grabbed the nearby candlestick as she nervously warned, "Aren't you supposed to be dead? Don't come near me! You're not my son, you're a ghost!"
"Ghost?" Muzan stopped in his tracks, a strange glint flashing in his eyes, then burst into a sinister laughter. "Hahaha, yes, I am the ghost!"
Muzan's laughter echoed in the room as he slowly approached Fujihara Sachiko, step by step, as if savoring the tension and fear of the moment.
"Mother, do you not want me either? Do you want to kill me?" Muzan's voice turned cold and ruthless, his eyes seemed to pierce through Fujihara Sachiko.
Fujihara Sachiko trembled all over. She had thought that everything was over, but Muzan appeared in front of her like a dead person. She suddenly felt that her whole life was a ridiculous drama, and it reached its climax at this moment.
