The winter break quickly came to an end, and the new semester began. My relationship with Shen Yu, having deepened during the holiday and warmed by New Year's Eve, became more stable and profound. We were no longer just a sweet couple on campus; we gradually started to integrate into each other's lives. 0

First came meeting friends. Shen Yu formally introduced me to a few of his roommates and close buddies. They were all brilliant figures from the computer science department, looking cool most of the time, but when they saw me, they greeted me with friendly and curious smiles. 0

"Hello, sister-in-law!" The one leading the group, a guy named Fat Zhao, greeted me with a grin, only to be shot a glare by Shen Yu. 0

"Stop calling her that," Shen Yu scolded, though a slight smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. 0

Throughout the gathering, they teased Shen Yu endlessly, saying he was like a "blooming iron tree" and "prioritizing romance over friendship," but they genuinely felt happy for him. I could sense that they truly accepted me. In front of them, Shen Yu showed a more relaxed and warm side of himself. 0

He naturally helped me serve food, carefully peeled shrimp for me, and subtly defended me when their jokes went too far. His friends looked at him in this "gentle" light and exclaimed that it was "too much to handle" and "blinding to the eyes." 0

I also introduced Shen Yu to my best friend, Su Xiaoxiao. She had long heard about him and turned into a "fan girl" upon meeting him in person, pulling him aside to ask all sorts of questions, mainly curious about how he "fell for" someone as "ordinary" as me. 0

Shen Yu found her questions amusing yet perplexing but patiently answered them. When Su Xiaoxiao asked what he liked about me, he glanced at me with eyes so gentle they seemed to sparkle. 0

"I like her... she's very genuine and cute; she's really wonderful." He paused for a moment before adding, "In my eyes, she's not ordinary at all; she's the best." 0

A simple sentence filled my heart instantly. Su Xiaoxiao dramatically clutched her chest beside us: "Oh no! I'm swooning! Lin Qi, this is it! You have to lock this down!" 0

Amidst Su Xiaoxiao's playful teasing, Shen Yu and I exchanged shy glances. 0

Beyond meeting friends, we began sharing more of our interests and hobbies. I loved watching movies and plays, so Shen Yu accompanied me through one film after another—even if he occasionally dozed off. He enjoyed playing basketball and programming; I would cheer for him from the sidelines or quietly sit beside him while he coded, occasionally handing him a glass of water. 0

We explored the library together for research materials, attended school lectures side by side, discovered unvisited corners of the city together, and planned for future summer internships. 0

We were no longer just two independent individuals but like two trees leaning against each other, their roots intertwined tightly as they shared sunlight and rain while weathering storms together. 0

This gradual merging into each other's worlds tightened our bond. I realized we weren't merely experiencing a campus romance; we were laying a solid foundation for our future lives. 0

Looking at this increasingly familiar boy beside me, I could clearly feel that he had become an indispensable part of my life. The thought of having him by my side in the days to come filled my heart with security and happiness. 0

We would slowly integrate into each other's worlds. 0
