Yang Su held the copper coin, feeling a strange power flowing through it. The coin was hot in his hand, and the symbols on it emitted a dazzling golden light. 0

"That's mine!" the White-Clad Witch screamed, her voice filled with anger and fear. 0

"This was left by your mentor," Teacher Li said to Yang Su. "Thirty years ago, when he came to investigate, he used this to suppress the White-Clad Witch. But later..." 0

"What happened later?" 0

"He was seduced by her," Zhang San Shui gasped. "The White-Clad Witch promised him immortality if he destroyed the copper coin. He didn't listen, but he couldn't escape the curse either..." 0

"Enough!" the White-Clad Witch interrupted them. "Do you think a mere copper coin can stop me?" 0

Her body suddenly swelled, and the blue light in her eyes turned blood red. The white-clad spirits let out piercing wails, transforming into strange orbs of light. The stench from the ground grew stronger, and several pitch-black tentacles emerged from the cracks in the stone tablet. 0

"Catch this!" Teacher Li suddenly threw a cloth bag to Yang Su. "This is the other half of the seal!" 0

Yang Su opened the bag to find a piece of green jade pendant inside, engraved with the same symbols as the copper coin. A cool breeze emanated from the pendant, dispelling the surrounding foul odor. 0

"The copper coin represents Yang, while the jade pendant represents Yin," Teacher Li explained. "Only together can they..." 0

Before he could finish his sentence, a flash of white light surged forth, sending Teacher Li's body flying against the stone wall. Zhang San Shui was also entangled by several white-clad spirits, unable to move. 0

"You insignificant insects!" the White-Clad Witch sneered. "Do you think these will trap me? Look at your retribution coming!" 0

From the darkness beneath the stone tablet came a chilling low growl. The black tentacles writhed wildly, leaving deep marks on the stone wall with each movement. 0

"That is..." Yang Su felt an unprecedented fear creeping in. 0

"A malevolent creature that was suppressed alongside me three hundred years ago," the White-Clad Witch said. "It will devour you all!" 0

At that moment, Yang Su felt both the copper coin and jade pendant vibrating in his hands. The light emitted from both artifacts intertwined in mid-air, forming a golden Bagua Pattern. 0

"No!" A look of terror crossed the White-Clad Witch's face. 0

The Bagua Pattern grew larger and brighter. The white-clad spirits were enveloped in its light, letting out wretched screams. The tentacles beneath the stone tablet began to retreat, emitting painful howls. 0

"Zhou Yue!" Yang Su shouted. "I know you're still there! Wake up!" 0

The White-Clad Witch's body trembled violently, her blood-red eyes alternating with their normal color. She clutched her head in agony: "No... you can't..." 0

"Mom..." A faint voice emerged. Wang Lanzhi's spirit separated from the white-clad spirits and floated before Zhou Yue. 0

" Yue'er..." Wang Lanzhi's voice was soft. "I'm sorry for being late." 0

She reached out her translucent hand and gently caressed Zhou Yue's face. A tear fell from Zhou Yue's eye and dripped onto the copper coin. 0

In an instant, golden light surged forth. 0
“No!” the White-Clad Witch let out one final shriek. 0
The Bagua Pattern suddenly contracted, transforming into a beam of golden light that shot into the stone tablet. The entire underground space trembled violently, and all the white-clad souls were engulfed by the golden light. From the darkness beneath the stone tablet came a thunderous roar, and then everything fell silent. 0
Zhou Yue collapsed to the ground, having lost consciousness. 0
In her daze, she saw many scenes: her mother holding her for the last time when she was three; the rainy night when her father disappeared, the air thick with the scent of herbs; and countless nights waking alone to the sound of bells. These scattered memories seemed to be strung together by an invisible thread—the thread of fate flowing through her veins. She had always thought she was escaping, but in truth, she was searching—searching for someone who could truly understand this Bloodline. And now, she finally realized that person was herself. 0
Yang Su rushed over to support her and noticed her body temperature beginning to normalize. 0
“It’s over,” Teacher Li said with great difficulty as he climbed to his feet. “The White-Clad Witch has been resealed.” 0
“Temporarily,” Zhang San Shui replied. “She will return sooner or later…” 0
Yang Su looked at the unconscious Zhou Yue, then at the copper coin and jade pendant in his hand. He knew this was far from over. But at least they had made it through this ordeal. 0
Outside, dawn was approaching. A ray of morning light seeped through the cracks in the underground, dispelling the last remnants of gloom. The sound of bells gradually faded away, leaving behind a room in disarray that bore witness to everything that had just transpired. 0
