Finally, the long-awaited movie has officially started production.
I stood on set, taking a deep breath and absorbing the tense yet exciting atmosphere around me. This was my first time starring in a big-budget action film, and while the pressure was significant, I felt even more anticipation.
"Action!" With the director's command, I immediately got into character, fully immersing myself in the role.
I played an exceptional agent, involved in numerous high-difficulty action sequences. To present the most authentic performance, I insisted on doing my own stunts without a double. This decision surprised everyone on set.
"Xiao Yang, are you sure? These stunts are quite dangerous," the Action Director asked with concern.
I nodded firmly. "I want to challenge myself and show the audience the most genuine performance."
Thus began my grueling training. From basic rolls and jumps to complex combat and car chases, I practiced each move repeatedly until every action flowed seamlessly.
Once filming officially began, I truly understood the hardships of action scenes. A single fight sequence often required shooting for over ten hours straight. My body was constantly covered in various injuries, but I never complained; I simply applied ointment quietly and continued shooting.
One time, during a car chase scene, I accidentally fell and scraped half of my face. The makeup artist looked at me with concern and asked, "Do you want to take a break?"
I shook my head and smiled. "It's nothing; these minor injuries are no big deal. Besides, having a few scars fits the character better and saves me from extra makeup."
My dedication and professionalism quickly earned the respect of everyone on set. Even the usually strict director frequently praised me, saying, "Xiao Yang is truly a gem; it's rare to find such a hardworking young actor."
Shen Yichen often came to visit on set, bringing supplements each time. Seeing my body covered in bruises made him worry, but he also understood my dedication to my acting career.
"Take care of yourself," he said softly, handing me a bottle of sports drink. "Don't push yourself too hard."
I took the drink, feeling warmth in my heart. "Don't worry, I know my limits."
My interactions with Shen Yichen naturally caught the attention of the paparazzi. Soon enough, our rumors were back in the media spotlight. But this time, we both chose silence, focusing on our respective work.
The atmosphere on set was harmonious, and I got along well with the other actors. We exchanged acting techniques, shared insights, and progressed together. Sometimes when we felt exhausted from filming, we would chat to relieve stress, creating a joyful environment.
Gradually, I adapted to the high-intensity work rhythm and even began to enjoy this fulfilling feeling. Waking up early and sleeping late was tough, but seeing my own progress brought an unparalleled sense of accomplishment.
I continuously utilized the Emotion Amplifier to help me better understand and portray my character's emotions. At times, I would stand in my character's shoes, feeling her joys and sorrows, which made my performance more vivid and natural.
In one scene, my character had just lost her closest comrade. I closed my eyes and imagined what it would feel like to lose someone so important. The heart-wrenching pain surged within me, and tears flowed uncontrollably.
"Cut!" the director shouted excitedly. "Amazing! Xiao Yang, your performance was so real!"
I opened my eyes to see that many crew members had red eyes. In that moment, I felt truly immersed in the role and realized I had grown significantly through this process.
As filming approached its end, I was filled with anticipation for this movie. I believed that with the entire crew's efforts, it would surely achieve great success.
After finishing the last scene, I felt a sense of relief mixed with a bit of reluctance. Looking around at everything familiar on set, I was filled with emotion. The hard work of these past few months was finally about to be presented on the big screen.
I looked forward to the audience's reactions and my own performance. Regardless of the outcome, I knew this experience had helped me grow immensely. I was no longer that inexperienced newcomer; I had become an actor capable of carrying significant roles.
With this confidence and anticipation, I embarked on the journey of promotion. What the future holds, I do not know, but I am ready to face any challenge that comes my way.
