The smoke of the technology competition has cleared, and my life with Qin Feng has returned to normal. Reflecting on the tension and excitement of the competition, I find the calmness of our current days somewhat unsettling. However, looking at Qin Feng by my side, I know that our story has only just begun.
Qin Feng has changed; he has become much more cheerful. The boy who once locked himself in the laboratory, like a modern-day Frankenstein, has now turned into the class's source of joy. Sometimes, it feels unbelievable, as if he suddenly became a different person.
"Zhao Yue, look!" Qin Feng ran over excitedly, holding a piece of paper in his hand. "I made plans with Xiao Li and the others to go hiking this weekend. Do you want to join us?"
I took the paper filled with names and was surprised to see at least a dozen people listed. "Wow, Qin Feng, when did you get to know so many friends?"
He scratched his head shyly. "Actually... I met them all after the technology competition. Everyone thought our project was cool, so they often came to chat with me. Gradually, we became familiar."
Seeing Qin Feng's slightly bashful smile filled me with warmth. The once reclusive academic genius has transformed into a sunny and outgoing young man. I felt genuinely happy for him.
"Of course I want to go!" I said with a smile. "But you have to promise not to suddenly decide to collect rare plant samples along the way!"
Qin Feng pretended to glare at me in mock anger. "Hey, am I really that much of a bookworm?"
"Who knows?" I teased, sticking out my tongue. "What if you see some strange flowers or plants and can't control yourself?"
We exchanged smiles filled with understanding. Days like this are truly wonderful.
Every day spent with Qin Feng fills me with immense happiness. We go to school together, study together, and discuss our future plans together. Sometimes we sit on the benches in the playground, dreaming about college life.
"Zhao Yue, which university do you want to go to?" Qin Feng asked me.
I tilted my head in thought. "I haven't decided yet. What about you?"
"I'm not sure either," Qin Feng replied, "but I know I want to be with you."
Hearing those words made my heart skip a beat. I turned my head and met Qin Feng's sincere gaze.
"Then... let's make a pact," I said, gathering my courage. "Let's work hard together and get into the same university."
Qin Feng nodded seriously. "Alright, that's our agreement."
From that day on, we studied even harder. The library became our second home, and we often reviewed late into the night. Sometimes I would feel exhausted, but whenever I caught a glimpse of Qin Feng's focused profile, I was filled with renewed motivation.
Once, while struggling with a math problem, I became frustrated and nearly gave up, tugging at my hair in annoyance. At that moment, Qin Feng gently patted my shoulder.
"Don't worry," he said softly. "Let's think of a solution together."
With Qin Feng's help, I finally solved that difficult problem. Looking at the correct answers on the test paper, I jumped up in joy, almost knocking into a bookshelf. Qin Feng quickly steadied me, and we exchanged smiles before hurriedly covering our mouths, afraid of disturbing other students.
Thus, we encouraged and supported each other, making progress together. We believed that as long as we worked hard together, we could achieve our dreams.
Reflecting on the moments I shared with Qin Feng fills me with gratitude. If it weren't for that unexpected encounter or the technology competition, we might never have met or developed such a wonderful relationship.
Sometimes, I imagine what the future will look like. Perhaps we will stroll together on a university campus or participate in more competitions and create more inventions. No matter what the future holds, I look forward to building a beautiful future with Qin Feng.
Recently, we've started preparing for the college entrance examination. Every night, we check each other's study plans to ensure they're completed. Qin Feng is more organized than I am; he even created a detailed review schedule for us.
"Zhao Yue, your physics grades need improvement," Qin Feng said earnestly. "Let's spend some extra time on this."
I pouted. "But physics is too hard..."
Qin Feng shook his head with a smile. "It's not difficult; you just haven't found the right approach. Here, let me teach you a memory technique."
With Qin Feng's help, my physics grades gradually improved. In return, I offered him some advice on English. We were like two puzzle pieces, complementing each other's weaknesses.
Sometimes I felt overwhelmed by pressure. But whenever I was downcast, Qin Feng always knew how to cheer me up in his unique way.
Once, I felt completely deflated because my mock exam results were disappointing. Without saying a word, Qin Feng grabbed my hand and pulled me outside.
"Qin Feng, what are you doing?" I asked, puzzled.
"I'm taking you out to clear your mind!" he said with a mysterious smile.
In the end, we arrived at a small hill behind the school. Qin Feng took out a pair of binoculars from his backpack and handed them to me.
"Look," he pointed into the distance, "that’s our future university."
I followed his gaze and indeed saw the outline of the Famous University in the city center. At that moment, I suddenly felt that our dreams were so real and within reach.
"Thank you, Qin Feng," I said sincerely, "thank you for always being by my side."
Qin Feng gently held my hand. "We promised to work hard together and make progress together. You are never fighting alone."
Looking into Qin Feng's determined eyes, I felt an immense happiness. I was grateful to have met him and to be an important part of his life. I knew that no matter what the future held, as long as we stood together with one heart, there would be no difficulty we couldn't overcome.
As the sun set, Qin Feng and I sat side by side on the hill, quietly gazing into the distance. A gentle breeze swept by, carrying a faint floral scent. I took a deep breath, filled with anticipation for the future.
I believe that the story of Qin Feng and me is just beginning. Our future will be as vast and bright as the sky before us. As long as we continue to support each other and work hard together, we will surely create a wonderful life that belongs to us.
